You get what you pay for. We needed something last minute on a budget and read good reviews. Sadly we were not impressed. The bathroom was very gross (tidy but not clean) — gunk in the corners of the tub, the vanity situation was very dirty everywhere. There was hair on the floor and on the toilet. The carpet in the room was super dingy / not super clean and the room smelled. As soon as my 5 year old son walked in the room he commented on the smell. The curtains couldn’t block all of the light from the parking lot. The air conditioning unit made the worst sounds. Just overall not ideal.

This is a great location if you plan on visiting Space Center Houston or the Johnson Space Center as its only a short 10 minute or so drive from the hotel. We got the family suite room that included 2 queen beds and a king bed in a separate room with a shared bathroom and a kitchen. The room was very nice and clean staff was friendly and helpful with any questions I had at check in. Unfortunately the next morning at breakfast we were a little disappointed in the quality of the breakfast compared to other la quintas. The coffee machine was like an instant coffee machine much like an instant hot chocolate machine which had very not so great coffee and the only creamer provided was powdered creamer. When my wife was getting coffee she saw a small German roach crawl across the machine which turned her off to drinking the coffee. The Texas waffles were good sausage was so so and boiled eggs were good. We spent a short time in the pool and hot tub area which was good despite knowing the age of the hotel. Despite the cons of the hotel we do have another night planned in August of this year when we are going on a cruise and we plan on keep the reservation.

I did not get the lady's name at the desk when we checked in but she was super nice. The owners, I believe they were, were extremely nice as well. Now the rooms were subpar. We went for a short staycation for Spring Break. There was a huge glob of hair on the floor in the entryway of the room and the bathroom. The room smelled like mold and when the air condition came on, the whole room shook. The TV did not work properly and did not show color at times. The door handle did not work properly when we left the room and we told the front desk about it. The breakfast was not the best by far. I have stayed at several LaQuinta and it could be better. The boiled eggs were spoiled and the overall breakfast lacked variety. It was the same thing for the past couple of days. Was it a bad stay? It wasn't too bad. There is room for improvement. Would I stay there again? Probably not.

We had a great time! We enjoyed the pool, and the staff was friendly. I'm just upset about the amount of chlorine that was placed inside of the pool, it had ruined all of our clothes. Clothes that we purchased right before staying in the hotel.

When I checked in I didn't had any information about the hotel. Breakfast Is every day the same boring stuffs, on the wall while we were eating the first day, also in the trails we found roches. Our bathtub was dirty and the microwave activated the fire alarm once we turned it on. The manager and the girls in the morning are helpful and try to help the clients but my check in was such a bad experience. My room was in front of the elevators too noisy, I requested for a new room and they gave me a connecting room with a noisy neighbor. The water in the swimming pool was tick and dirty. I wish I had read the.reviews before
