Reserved Accessible room with roll in shower and 2 queen beds two weeks ago. Upon arrival the room type I reserved was not available. We were given an accessible room with a walk in shower but it had no grab bars. Staff did hunt up a shower chair, but safety was a significant concern with no grab bars. Also the shower had no place to set soaps and shampoos except the floor. The shower only opened from one side (the water side) so as caregiver I got completely soaked while bathing my loved one. The room itself was spacious and comfortable with room to maneuver the wheelchair. The bed was extremely firm, which may be comfortable for some, but not for us. Staff was as accommodating as possible given the situation and allowed me to check two rooms for suitability since our reserved type was not available.

I had a great experience at La Quinta Inn Houston. I accidentally created a duplicate charge when booking, and even though the reservation was nonrefundable, the hotel still refunded the extra charge, which I truly appreciated. The staff was friendly, the stay was comfortable, and the airport shuttle worked perfectly. Overall, excellent service and a very positive experience.

My recent stay at this property was unacceptable due to multiple cleanliness, maintenance, and safety issues. I was required to change rooms because the first room had a strong mildew odor. The second room also had a noticeable mildew smell, indicating a broader issue rather than an isolated incident. The bedding and floors in the room had large, visible stains, which is not acceptable for a hotel stay. Additionally, the entire third floor had a persistent unpleasant odor. The floor lamp near the window did not function, resulting in inadequate lighting at night. Most concerning, the room door did not close properly, raising serious security concerns. This property appears to be poorly maintained and does not meet basic standards for cleanliness, functionality, or guest safety. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here. The only reason I gave one star because I couldn't submit with out adding one

Good luck getting ahold of someone at the front desk to have the shuttle pick you up from airport. I had prepaid for my stay. I responded to an email the day before I flew in saying I would need the airport shuttle to pick me up at 8:45 p.m.... I land, I call for an hour and nobody picked up. Had to pay $30 for a taxi because this sorry hotel doesn't care. Don't stay here, ever.

Stayed here for two days with a group of friends, and the experience was disappointing. One of my friends had to move rooms due to a strong sewage smell, and the replacement room still had a noticeable odor. The bedding in that room appeared unclean and had visible stains. I stayed in a suite on the 4th floor and also noticed a faint sewage smell after the first night. The room felt worn, poorly maintained, and clearly in need of updates and better housekeeping. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location until cleanliness issues and maintenance concerns are properly addressed.
