The rooms smell like wet rags and mold. You wont get your room cleaned UNLESS you request it and when we did they didnt even bother to clean right. All they did was replace shampoo and towels and left the rest there. No one vacummed, broomed, or changed our bed sheets. The pool is green and doesnt work. The mini frigde in our room smells really bad. We had to take out our own trash because the workers here dont know how to do their job i guess.

The rooms stink. Literally. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. I can live with the furnishings being beaten up and the walls having mismatched paint, but the smell was making me sick. We checked out early and went to Clarion. Much nicer, and we saved $20 to boot!

Rooms are mini suites. Desk. multiple lamps. couch. mini dining table. ample parking. zero noise from outside or neighbors. hot water takes a few minutes to get up to the higher floors, but it's hot. you have to turn on the AC to get rid of the initial scent. pretty good breakfast with the scrambled eggs.

So I've been rooming here for years and want to first and foremost address the rude lady they have now at the front desk. I think her name was Margaret. Yucky, awful, terrible customer service. And what make it so bad is that she's a higher up if I'm not mistaken. Sheesh you would think if they were going to get a new front desk person that they would at least try to make sure the individual was better then the last one. Dean has taken care of our needs when we stay for about 2 years now. He's very professional and just really sets the tone as far as making us feel like family when we arrive until the time we leave. But yea Margaret needs to find a new profession or they just need to put her in the back folding towels or something. Yikes...not a foot move La Quinta. I did notice the hallways had a Marijuana smell to high heaven. And another MAJOR PROBLEM was there is no working washing machine....I had to hand wash all of my work clothes it was a nightmare and it ended up making me a few minutes late to work because I wasn't aware of the broken washing machines. I mean shoot you would think with the prices of the rooms you could at least have fully functional washing machines right? Please guys let's get that fixed ...like top priority. Breakfast was okay, rather repetitive but all in all pretty good. I'm pretty sure the best part of breakfast is actually the sweetest most caring older lady who is there to greet me upon arriving to eat breakfast. Miss Beverly is an all star employee and really is even above textbook customer service. She's always smiling and keeps the breakfast bar nice and clean and is always there if I should need anything but she pretty much makes sure before she opens breakfast that you really won't be needing anything. She pays great attention to detail and has great conversation...when she has a second of course...I just love her and she's a big part of why I keep coming to La Quinta when I do travel to Spring. Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to have Beverly train Margaret in some customer service/ good old southern hospitality. We just want to have good people greeting us and it was rather upsetting to find out they have such an awful individual running the show up front.... hopefully they will fix that issue along with the washing machines rather quickly. I would hate to have to stay somewhere else next time I'm in Spring just because of Margaret.
