The rooms layout was decent. The bed was comfortable. That's the only good. Reference pics for the nasty. Curtains were stained from who knows what. The bathroom smelled like a dirty crotch because there's no ventilation. TV only had lile 4 channels that actually worked so I hope you like shark tank. The fridge was like missing a leg so it wobbled all over the place. Was there from sunday night till Tuesday morning. Didn't get any service to the room at all. No new towels, no bed made, nothing. I mean for a quick stay its fine but I wouldn't go here again. Check in and out was easy.

1 Star – Kept Our Money & Left a Family With Kids Sleeping in the Lobby Terrible experience at Hyatt Place Houston-North. We booked through Expedia as part of a prepaid flight + hotel package. The room was fully paid and non-refundable. Our flight was delayed, and we arrived at 4:00 AM with my wife and children. The front desk employee told us our room was canceled because we did not arrive before midnight. This is unacceptable. The room was already paid for — they should not cancel or resell a prepaid, non-refundable booking. The employee was rude, unhelpful, and showed no empathy to a tired family with kids. They refused to refund the first night so we could book another hotel. So they kept our money and left us without a room. We had to sit and try to sleep in the lobby for hours. After speaking with Expedia, the hotel said maybe a room would be available at 9:00 AM. Then suddenly at 5:30 AM, the same employee said the system showed a vacant room. The room was clean and ready the whole time. We stayed about 3 hours in the lobby for no reason. No apology. No accountability. The area is also not very quiet. Overall, very disappointing experience. Thankfully, Expedia gave us a one-night credit, but the hotel refused any refund or apology. I would not recommend this location, especially for families.

You get what you pay for. That was the case with this place. Starting out, we got checked in by an older ma who seemed more interested in the tv, then he was his job. To his defense, we didn't get there to check in until after midnight. Went upstairs to my room to use the restroom, (they have 2 elevators -one which was out of order) on the wall in the elevator, there are 2 pictures, showing breakfast, and the other, what I'm assuming is a local restaurant. (I'll get back to the breakfast in a minute) Anyhow, got off the elevator, and went in my room and used the restroom. While using the restroom, I noticed a few things.... First, the cleaning crew didn't do a very thorough job in cleaning , because there was a pile of I assume pubic hair on the floor . The towel rack is mounted in the shower, and has more rust than actual metal showing.. The next morning, we got up for their breakfast, and it looked nothing like the picture that was in the elevator. 4⁴ yogurt is in a big community bowl, and next to it was their "fresh" fruit-(frozen) Trrhe waffles are not the "make yourself" ones, instead, they put Eggo walfles out. A sign states that you can not take food to your room. The signs offer r my

This is an absolutely wonderful hotel! The rooms are fantastic and the layout is very appealing. The main lobby is very professional looking. The staff are kind and very quick with check in and out and they make you feel welcome. The Breakfast is sensational!! They have absolutely everything for breakfast eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, fruit and much more than most hotels I have ever stayed at. I beyond recommend this location to anyone needing a great night stay in a magnificent room. I beyond recommend this hotel and location to anyone coming through this area!! Beyond worth it!

I chose this hotel because of its convenient location, but I was genuinely surprised by what I walked into — in the best way. From the moment I stepped into the elevator and saw the holographic doors, I knew this stay would be something special. For the price, I wasn’t expecting such a refreshing change from what I’m used to. The room featured a comfortable sitting lounge, a small kitchen nook, and even a designated area to put on shoes and hang jackets. There was also a business space, perfect for anyone needing to finish up work or handle tasks during their stay. The walk-in shower was stocked with hotel-provided shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The shower gel was especially invigorating — just a few pumps and it wakes you right up. The mattress was incredibly comfortable and gave me such a deep, restful sleep I almost forgot I wasn’t at home. I really appreciated the separation between the living area and the sleeping area. Being able to sit on the couch and watch TV instead of staying in bed made the space feel more like a mini-apartment. Breakfast was another highlight. I was skeptical at first, but once I walked downstairs and saw everything matched the pictures — and tasted just as good — I was impressed. They offered Eggo waffles, boiled eggs, egg patties, fruit, cereal, and several bread options. The rolling toaster was a fun touch, and there were plenty of toppings for both the breads and the eggs. Overall, everything from the holographic elevator doors to the room itself and the delicious breakfast made my stay amazing. I will definitely return without a doubt.
