Pros: Very modern hotel, active downstairs when we went at night and in the morning, super comfortable mattress (springy but soft and supportive like a medium plus firmness in a good way.) Very clean and cute decor. The room we had included a full size sectional couch with a pull out bed if you needed it. That is rare for the couch size! The cons: Pretty bathrooms and roomy shower but, at least in room 1015, it was the worst shower head and/or shower pressure we have ever experienced. So that needs to be adjusted. Ladies let’s just say it was good it wasn’t hair-washing day! There are mini-fridges but no microwave. It’s on a busy corner next to the medical hospitals so for us that was a plus because of why we were there. There are entry doors everywhere but there’s only 1 driving entrance to the lobby in parking garage area because it is on a corner. The offloading are is plenty but it is a tight space. Still good. Overall though we would still stay again. 🙌 The pics are stills from a video so not the best quality, but you get the idea.

This is a very well-maintained property and, in my view, the best option in the Texas Medical Center area within a similar tier. I’ve stayed at more than five major chain hotels nearby, and I’ve been returning to this property for over a year. - Cleanliness (a major plus). Cleanliness matters a lot to me, and this hotel consistently delivers. At other nearby properties, I experienced recurring issues: carpets that clearly had not been cleaned (my socks turned gray immediately after stepping on them), poor HVAC maintenance that affected air quality, and even a loud fan positioned right next to the bed. Here, I have actually seen carpets being deep cleaned, and the air quality is noticeably better. On rare occasions I’ve noticed minor dust around a fan, but staff were responsive when I requested a filter change. The furniture is in good condition and everything functions as intended. I also appreciate the small in-room kitchen for occasional cooking; the pots and pans have been in decent condition in the rooms I’ve stayed in. - Amenities. The fitness room is clean, well equipped, and offers a great view from the rooftop level next to the pool. Having the pool upstairs rather than on the first floor gives the space a much nicer feel. There is also a hot tub that actually works; in over a year, I’ve only seen it slightly underheated once. Breakfast may look limited at first glance, but there are many ways to mix and match options: egg and ham sandwiches, yogurt parfaits, even crepe-style wraps using tortillas. The lobby has a comfortable, productive atmosphere for working, and the business center printer has always worked reliably. - Vibe and service. The staff are consistently kind and professional. The restaurant area has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere in the evenings, especially when conference guests gather there. I personally enjoy working in the lobby and people-watching; it gives the space a lively but comfortable energy. - Location and safety. The property itself feels very safe, even late at night or early in the morning. I would not necessarily wander far around the surrounding blocks at night though. It’s slightly farther from Hermann Park than some other hotels, but the proximity to the TMC Transit Center is extremely convenient. For those who bike, being close to the Bayou can also be a plus. If you want to walk, I recommend heading toward the newer TMC area (you can exit through the back and pass the Blossom Hotel). As the TMC3 development continues to expand, I expect the location will eventually feel more attractive. Overall, I think the general manager and staff work very hard to maintain a high level of service quality. I was honestly surprised that the ratings were not higher. I wanted to leave this review to acknowledge the consistently positive experience I’ve had and to reciprocate some good service I’ve received.

Such a lovely hotel for the 8 nights we stayed! It's very modern, clean, and kept in good condition. The shuttle service was definitely a bonus and a nicer way to travel rather than getting on a public bus or tram. The location was great, within 2 miles of basically all hospitals in the area, as well as Hermann Park, and close enough to Downtown. A highlight was definitely the breakfast service. The food was absolutely delicious, a great way to meet others that were staying in the hotel, and always a nice start to the day. The views over TMC and Houston city were amazing at all times of the day, and something I loved to see first thing in the morning when I opened the blinds. The staff were very helpful answering any questions we had and delivering items we needed. Overall a wonderful place to stay, and I'll definitely come back here next time I'm in Houston! Thank you Hyatt House!!

Great place to stay especially if you have medical appointments in the area! The rooms are comfortable and the staff is so gracious and helpful! Excellent restaurant downstairs! I highly recommend the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and fries! Slight learning curve in having to use your room key to operate the elevator and access the laundry service, but it made me feel so safe! We will be staying there again!

We stay at quite a few hotels during the year but this was our first time staying at this location. The check in was quick and easy and all staff were so polite and pleasant. We checked out this morning Sunday November 9th. The lady working the front desk( I wish I’d gotten her name) was so helpful and nice when I told her my wife had gotten stuck in a meeting and wouldn’t be back before check out , I asked if we could do a late check out and even though she was swamped and super busy she took the time to help me and allow us a late check out. Thank you Hyatt for hiring such awesome folks and thank you for an amazing stay. Will definitely be back and will definitely recommend your hotel to others.
