Reviews
Everything about the facilities, including the showers and equipment, was quite good, a bit old, but in a busy city like this, you can't ask for more. I felt it was well-deserved for someone from Dallas visiting here. However, what bothered me was the attitude of the staff. They offered free breakfast until 9 am, and we ate and chatted. Around 9:15 am, a staff member came to clean up with a very disrespectful attitude. She slammed things down while cleaning and made very loud noises, drawing everyone's attention at the breakfast counter as if she were tired and wanted everyone to leave so she could clean up. Even after everyone had left and my family was still sitting there drinking our last glass of milk, she deliberately continued cleaning at a table opposite ours, cleaning roughly and rudely, making loud noises as if trying to drive customers away while we were having a family conversation. She was truly impolite. I think this place should reconsider its cafeteria staff management.

Unprofessional staffs. Partially my fault that I accidentally left behind an item at the hotel, but the fact that I called them 4 separate times about it just to get the answer that the receptionist doesn’t know where lost-and-found items are located is unacceptable. The minimum you would expected of the staff is to know the basic of the hotel and they don’t know that indicates how bad it is running. It took me calling the Hyatt Globalist line twice just to get an answer is telling of how bad they treat the customer here. This is how they treat a Globalist, I can’t even imagine how they treat a regular customer there. Don’t stay there if you value being a human. The room itself seems clean, but there’s a weird odor in the room the entire duration of my stay. Furthermore, hot water took forever to come out, I think I waited over 10 minutes just to get a warm shower.

I normally don’t allow a review stop me from my own experience, but in this case, I wish I had most of the bad reviews are 100% accurate in my opinion. I stayed here 11/6-11/9/25 I got stuck in the elevator closet to the front. The door latch was broken. My room had a funny smell. The first alarm was hanging out the wall. The hallway was hot and muggy. I didn’t see any security for the garage. It was open the whole time anybody had access the laundry room is in horrible condition. The ice machine has mold. I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s a good location of course because it’s in the Galleria. it’s cheaper than the Hyatt Regency, but if you could afford to stay elsewhere do so.

I am absolutely furious about our experience at this. We booked through Hotels.com for a medical procedure, and while the initial interaction seemed promising, things quickly fell apart. The online photos promised a clean, comfortable environment, but we found a filthy room with stained carpets, mold on the walls and sofa, and dirty bedding. Given the medical nature of our visit, cleanliness was non-negotiable, and we were deeply concerned about infection. Initially, the hotel staff seemed somewhat helpful, but the issues really began when we sought resolution. After the manager eventually approved a refund, we were still left with the ongoing stress of dealing with the aftermath. Now, weeks later, the situation is even worse. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the hotel staff and Hotels.com has been a nightmare to deal with. Every time we reach out, we’re connected to a different agent, and the cycle repeats. They’ve been trying to contact the hotel, but the property simply does not answer their phones. It’s an endless loop of frustration. In conclusion, while the initial response seemed helpful, the complete lack of follow-through and the ongoing unresponsiveness from both the hotel and Hotels.com is completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding both the hotel and Hotels.com. This entire experience has been a stressful and infuriating ordeal.

This hotel needs a make over. It is so run down. It offered two rooms with kings and added in each room so we could both work but that is the only positive comment. There is mold on the vents, see photos, and they are working hard to cover up the musty smell by using HUGE amounts of air fresheners. The television needs replacing as the screen is failing, see photos. I do NOT recommend this hotel.
