Staff are not that friendly. You have to pay $25 a night for parking in a parking garage that the gates were broken so anyone could enter. Unfortunately, there was no where else to park. The place is worn down and absolutely not a good representation of Hyatt. The H Bar was closed. I was on the 4th floor. The first 2 nights I was there, the floor smelled like weed. I informed the front desk about the issue, and they said they'd send maintenance up. My room had no forks in it. There's a strange pipe that goes into the shower. The shower took a long time to warm up and then gets very hot so be careful with water temp. The phone in my room didn't work. The workout room was nice except they had no water in the water dispenser, no workout towels, and the bench is missing the knob to allow the position of the bench to be changed easily. They, also, keep the workout room at 72°F - very warm when working out. Breakfast was ok. Traffic is somewhat noisy as it's really close to the freeway.

This hotel needs a make over. It is so run down. It offered two rooms with kings and added in each room so we could both work but that is the only positive comment. There is mold on the vents, see photos, and they are working hard to cover up the musty smell by using HUGE amounts of air fresheners. The television needs replacing as the screen is failing, see photos. I do NOT recommend this hotel.

Mark Thompson Oct 7, 2025, 8:52 AM EDT It was acceptable all things considered. Price was reasonable.I wished the people who cleaned the rooms spoke English. I was given the wrong information because they couldn't understand me. Made me walk all over the building. But my only other, and biggest beef is. When I arrived room paid for fully. They said I could not stay because I did not have a credit card. I had two bank cards. They said they needed it for incidentals because again the room was totally paid for. I don't mind that rule per se. My beef is I should have been told way before arrival. When I try to give cash for incidentals, the price went from 25 a day to 100 a day. The manager asked me to leave if I didn't have $200 in cash or a credit card no debit or bank card accepted. Leave or he was calling the police. Again my room was totally paid for. I had to wind up calling a family member to come and complete the check-in process with the credit card. Notification would have saved a lot of stress and frustration. Manager says it's the third party responsibility. I say that representing you somehow you have to get the public to know about that rule / policy. The restaurant wasn't open the whole weekend. The continental breakfast was pretty good actually. And the room was nice. Oh wait the first room they gave me I walked in with my key and there was a woman sleeping in the bed I backed out. The second room they gave me was very nice but had no bedding. The third room they gave me was bigger and also very nice. I just had to uproot my stuff from the second room to the first room process was tiring. So my stay was not bad, so so. Three out of five stars. Or 6 out of 10 Stars |

The whole hotel gave motel soon as you drive up. Inside was old. Elevator was very old. Look like water damage on the floor. Elevator and my heat stop working while I stayed. My room was already pre paid for so I stayed but I did not enjoy nothing about it.

I normally don’t allow a review stop me from my own experience, but in this case, I wish I had most of the bad reviews are 100% accurate in my opinion. I stayed here 11/6-11/9/25 I got stuck in the elevator closet to the front. The door latch was broken. My room had a funny smell. The first alarm was hanging out the wall. The hallway was hot and muggy. I didn’t see any security for the garage. It was open the whole time anybody had access the laundry room is in horrible condition. The ice machine has mold. I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s a good location of course because it’s in the Galleria. it’s cheaper than the Hyatt Regency, but if you could afford to stay elsewhere do so.
