Great place to stay- deserving solid 5 stars and a high praise for the wonderful stay we had at your hotel!!! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the exceptional service and the professionalism of the entire team. We would like to specifically recognition of Dalton (the best and impressive concierge!), Joshua ( very helpful and pleasant front desk staff) and Gordon ( a very kind, polished and professional driver). Their attentiveness and dedication made our visit truly pleasant and memorable. Additionally, we found our room to be remarkably clean and well-kept throughout our stay. We also thoroughly enjoyed the hotel bar. The staff there worked together seamlessly to ensure all guests were having a great time, contributing to a fantastic atmosphere. Thank you for providing such an excellent experience. We will certainly be recommending your hotel to others and look forward to staying with you again in the future. Highly recommend!!

My mother and I recently stayed at the The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa, and it was absolutely amazing. We stayed in the Bush Suite and truly loved every part of our experience. JD checked us in and was incredibly welcoming. He answered all of our questions thoroughly, and when we returned later with a few more, he was just as happy to help. After settling in, we explored the grounds and were impressed by how clean and beautifully maintained everything was. Every staff member we encountered was polite and professional, everything felt well organized and thoughtfully put together. We had dinner at TRIBUTE, and it was outstanding. Hector took care of us and was so kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, and the drinks were amazing. The Bush Suite itself was wonderful, and we especially enjoyed the comfort and atmosphere of the room. We also loved that the suite incorporated photos and historical elements of the Bush family throughout the space. It was so special to look at the pictures and read about the history woven into the room, it made the stay feel even more meaningful. We ordered in-room dining for breakfast, and everything was very well organized. The staff member who delivered our meal was very sweet, and I truly appreciated their attention to my allergies, it meant a lot. When we checked out, Christian and Ador assisted us and were genuinely happy that we enjoyed our stay. I was amazed by how helpful and courteous every single staff member was, we did not encounter one unkind person during our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Bush Suite, and if we ever have the opportunity to return, we absolutely will.

We booked my daughter’s bridal portraits at The Houstonian and could not have been more pleased with the experience. Janet was exceptionally kind, accommodating, and truly went above and beyond to help us. Even during the busy Christmas season, she worked with us to find an afternoon in December that fit our schedule. The grounds were beautifully decorated for the holidays, and the late-afternoon outdoor lighting filtering through the trees made the portraits even more stunning. The entire staff was courteous and helpful, and Janet even found a private place for my daughter to change for the photos, which we greatly appreciated. The fee was very reasonable and in line with other venues we researched, but what truly set The Houstonian apart was the professionalism and hospitality of the staff. After researching many locations in the Houston area, The Houstonian stood out as the most helpful and courteous. Highly recommend for bridal portraits or special photography sessions. In addition to being a wonderful setting for portraits, The Houstonian is a beautiful and charming hotel for guests. It is uniquely located in Houston yet feels hidden among the trees, offering a peaceful, private atmosphere. The food and drinks are excellent, and the property has an elegant, old country club–style charm that makes it truly special.

Every time I photograph a wedding at The Houstonian, I’m reminded of why it’s such a staple in the city. There is a quiet, natural beauty to the grounds—especially the majestic oak tree—that creates such a peaceful atmosphere for a wedding day. Beyond the scenery, I really appreciate how well the staff looks after everyone. They are attentive and professional, which makes a huge difference in how relaxed the couple feels. When the day runs this smoothly, it allows for those genuine, happy moments that I love to capture. It’s a beautiful choice for anyone looking for an elegant, high-quality experience.

Really nice hotel. We are here with family who was in from out of town. We tried several appetizers: Tuna, oysters, and squab and folks really enjoyed all of them. Several folks had the Wagyu Filet Mignon as their main and everyone said it was excellent. A couple of people also had the chicken and enjoyed it as well. Then there were several desserts passed around with a caramel flan, a chocolate mouse cake and a s'mores themed option as well. Again they were all outstanding. Service was excellent throughout. Staff was helpful and friendly for the entirety of our meal. Definitely a very solid meal. Everything was great.
