Great place to stay- deserving solid 5 stars and a high praise for the wonderful stay we had at your hotel!!! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the exceptional service and the professionalism of the entire team. We would like to specifically recognition of Dalton (the best and impressive concierge!), Joshua ( very helpful and pleasant front desk staff) and Gordon ( a very kind, polished and professional driver). Their attentiveness and dedication made our visit truly pleasant and memorable. Additionally, we found our room to be remarkably clean and well-kept throughout our stay. We also thoroughly enjoyed the hotel bar. The staff there worked together seamlessly to ensure all guests were having a great time, contributing to a fantastic atmosphere. Thank you for providing such an excellent experience. We will certainly be recommending your hotel to others and look forward to staying with you again in the future. Highly recommend!!

We stayed at The Houstonian for NCA Cheer weekend and truly cannot recommend this hotel enough. The service was incredible. They were friendly, fast, and attentive without ever feeling overdone. We were especially impressed by how intuitive the housekeeping staff was. Our daughter had some DayQuil out because she was fighting a cold, and they thoughtfully placed a eucalyptus shower puck on the bathroom counter. We had sunglasses sitting out as well, and they left lens cleaning cloths. Those small, thoughtful touches meant so much and made our stay feel extra comfortable. Our room was spacious, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I especially appreciated the light controls on each side of the bed and the abundance of outlets (such a small thing that makes a big difference). Everything about the room felt intentionally designed for comfort. The hotel grounds were beautiful and peaceful. The decor and finishes felt timeless and very well maintained. It truly felt like staying in an oasis rather than in the middle of a large city. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and relaxing!

I absolutely love the Houstonian and it honestly in a lot of ways is maybe one of if not the best parts about Houston. It is an oasis away from all the traffic and buildings and concrete. The facility is incredible. The hotel stay was amazing. The food is great. The gym is great. Cannot say enough good things about the Estonian and if you’re from out of town and are looking for a place to stay the fact that you have access to the entire club while also getting a great hotel from from it, you should definitely stay here when you’re visiting Houston

The Houstonian has been part of my life through all ownership changes. Over time the focus changes as does the culture. It was focused on quality of life fitness, then performance. Dining focused on healthy eating. Everything changed from minimalistic and focused to a material, and dare I say snobby approach? Used to love spend time at the pool, in the fitness center, on the courts, in the dining area, etc. At some point management felt the need to place key-fob locks on every entry point. You go into he fitness center (one check), you go to the fitness room another check-in, you go to the next room/facility within the building and once again your pulling out your FOB. Eerily similar to my time working within the penal system. The sole difference was at the Houstonian I was not provided an armed escort (lol) in spite of the high membership fees. As I exited the fitness facility to the pool, once again the need for the FOB. Do not like leaving my FOB out on a table and they are not to be underwater. Yes, the FOBs get taken and the member as to pay for another. After being a member at numerous country clubs as well as a guest at some of the most exclusive, I cannot recall ever feeling like I was in a white-collar prison nor the requirement to carry a FOB for access every time, everywhere. The only time I return nowadays is as a guest.

AMAZING!! If you're second guessing where to stay, stop. This is your choice! I took a solo vacation to Houston for my birthday and decided to stay here. I do NOT regret my decision...and it was a tough one. I was given VIP treatment the entire time, even before my arrival the concierge contacted me to plan my time there and even helped make reservations of my choice. The Staff- Where do I even begin? Everyone I encountered from the management, concierge, and housekeeping was warm and delightful. The team took amazing care of me, even addressing me by name the entire time. They communicated with me via text to keep me on target with my itinerary (which they helped create). Being a solo traveler, I felt safe the entire time. It was felt that their entire mission was to ensure I had a memorable stay for my birthday. And their mission was accomplished. I never once felt like a stranger, the team welcomed me with open arms the entire time. ....And the car service was a super nice touch, especially because I took advantage of it on my birthday to transport me to dinner. The Room- My room was very clean (and I'm very particular with this part) as well as the property was overall well kept. I especially appreciated the sweet treats and notes for turndown service. The personal care items were really nice...especially the shower steamers and body scrubbers. My husband had flowers delivered to my room from Sage & Bloom (the onsite floral shop) and the arrangement was beautiful against the backdrop of the floor to ceiling window in my room. Oh the views were amazing!! Tribute Restaurant- I dined at Tribute on Valentine's Day night. What a fantastic choice. I was nervous about dining at a hotel on a night like that, but the food and service did not disappoint. I am still thinking about that meal (lol). They treated me very nicely given I was solo diner on Love day. I felt special from the time I walked in to the time I left. Trellis Spa- I visited the spa on my birthday which was a Sunday. Admittedly, it was a tad too busy for my liking. The locker rooms, indoor jacuzzis, and outdoor jacuzzis, as well as the lounge area were packed!! It didn't appear to be the cleanest and there were hot water issues in the showers. And when it came to my massage, unfortunately, I had a hard time getting comfortable on the table. The massage was just okay, but the 23% service charge is already included so I felt a little slighted there. If you're planning to visit the spa, try any day other than a weekend day. Hopefully you'll have a better experience than I did. The Health Club- I only visited, but didn't get a chance to use the facility. I was given a very nice tour to orient myself. It was HUGE. I wish I could have taken one of the many classes they offered, but didn't (much of which were included with your stay). Make this part of your stay if you can. Overall - My recommendation is the Houstonian. I'd choose it again, and plan to return with my husband next time I visit Houston. It will be a time you won't forget!
