I've been here no more than 4 months and I've already had my work vehicle broken into, inside the parking garage. The gate is always unlocked and opened for anyone to access throughout the day and night. I've had all of my power tools stolen worth over $1300. The ladies that work here are kind and helpful but I wouldn't recommend this place. I pay over $1600 for a one bedroom, for that price I expect a little more security.

Hi my name is Elvin I've been staying at houston house since May and I can say so far the staff has been amazing I say that because the staff here are all super nice they will DEFINITELY work with you if you act like you got some since and trust me you'll be fine one of my fave staff members are not here anymore but the rest of the staff is just as amazing and anytime I need something fixed in my unit the complex is always on the job and not to mention the great rent prices compared to anywhere else in the city if you want a nice place to live with affordable pricing great views Now with that being said the ROACHES HERE ARE A BIGG BIG PROBLEM yes rent is cheap and housing is affordable but THE ROACHES STAY HERE MORE THAN THE RESIDENTS DO and like the post before this one no matter how much you clean or keep your place clean they just keep coming I've see some units in worse shape then mine as far as pest go now it's just easy to blame it on my neighbors for the reason Ive have been seeing roaches but I think this complexe as a whole starting from the basement all the way to the 30th floor are infested with roaches I DO FEEL THE RESIDENTS NEED A BETTER EXPERIENCE AND YES SOME ARE CLENER THAN OTHERS BUT HAVING TO KILL AND WAKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT TO KILL ROACHES IS REDICULOUS DO BETTER HOUSTON HOUSE KILL THE ROACHES

I was scheduled for an appointment and no one showed up!!I was told such person went on lunch, but how do you schedule a lunch when an appointment has been scheduled? Resident were complaining as I was setting there about roaches, bugs no one ever answering the phone, the laundry how people leave their clothes there for months and how management is almost always changing!!!After waiting for an hour, one of the residents suggested that another resident show me her place, however, that resident was upset about AT&T . It was a lot. I did reach out by email and was responded to and that person was very kind. It’s too much going on there. I had not read the reviews before and now see that nothing has really changed. For such a nice place online and beautiful views, this should not happen at all. I was really shocked and afraid at the same time. I pray things get better,my experience was awful!!!!

I visited Houston House Apartments in late December and was told they don’t accept walk-ins (which is common in other complexes). They gave me a card with a URL to book an appointment, which I did for December 31st. When I arrived, they told me they don’t show apartments on that date. Later, I noticed a small note in the 'Appointmet request email': “*We will be in touch to confirm your appointment.” However, I never received any confirmation—neither approval nor cancellation. If they cared about customers, they would clearly notify people when appointments are not confirmed. As a result, I wasted time visiting twice and never got to see a unit. Both the appointment system and the site administration seriously lack common sense.
