So this is a very nice hotel, the location is also very upscale. Be prepared to spend some money to eat, as it is a expensive area, with no fast food or inexpensive places to eat nearby. To be honest the hotel is nice, the service is good as well, and if you are wanting something upscale the location is also good. But if you or someone who routinely carries a firearm for self-protection, Marriott hotels are not for you as they forbid it. For that reason alone I would not recommend any Marriott hotel, because they seem not to care for the safety of their guests, making sure that there are no good guys with guns allowed there to stop bad guys with guns.

Since moving away from the Woodlands to Austin, the Marriott at City Place has become my home away from home. The location is beautiful and serene. The hotel is clean and modern. I appreciate the great service that I received on my most recent stay. I was given a quiet room upon request at checkin. When I went for a morning swim in the heated pool, a sweet and thoughtful staff member named Alberta brought me two towels to dry off with upon exiting the pool. As someone who worked in hospitality for nearly a decade, I can recognize extraordinary customer service when I see it! Thanks to everyone at the Marriott City Place for making me and family feel so welcome at your hotel during Thanksgiving weekend. I am grateful.

We always use this hotel to put up our speakers in our local church. The hotel is beautiful and has lots of meeting rooms for any needs you may have. It’s location is great. There’s a coffee shop across the street. There a walking trail along a man made lake. It’s also conveniently located right off of i45 and the hardy tollway. I would recommend this hotel 100%.

Spent a great new years eve here as they offered the perfect location to be right at the heart of the celebrations. Hotel itself still seems pretty new and offers a lot of modern amenities (recommend getting the lounge access). The high floor rooms offer a nice view of the entire CityPlace area. Free street parking if you can find it as well.

I often stay here for work trips and this hotel is consistently excellent. The staff is superb and incredibly friendly. The rooms are spacious, up to date, and VERY clean. The housekeeping services are exceptional. Special shout to to Paola and Roseman for the mints and nice notes in the room as well. The hotel bar and restaurant is also great and convenient.
