The hotel itself was clean, organized, with elegant holiday decoration. The service provided by all staff was impecable and respectful. When asking for accomodation, the staff was very helpful and did everything to make these were met. The rooms were clean and beautifully designed. I have mixed feelings with the toiletries provided: most of them smelled and felt good in the body and hair, but the box that had the q-tips and the round cotton pads was notisable used multiple times and ripped and the pads felt apart within the first 3 seconds and the qtip was damaged too. The location is key for this hotel as it is at walking distance of delicious restaurants, museums and parks to be enjoyed. This hotel is and incredible choice and a hotel to be considered in your top 3 if you are in town. As for the restaurant in the hotel, there is a lot to be desired as the service was too slow and the occupancy of the restaurant was low (about 40% or less with multiple waiters). From the moment we ordered to the moment the food was delivered, it it was more than 30 minutes, beberages in the beberage tray for the waiters to pick up and serve would take more than 10 minutes after asking for these. I can highly speak for the hotel, but the restaurant for breakfast, I will probably choose to eat somewhere else or make use of the complimentary stations near the elevators in each floor. These stations have a good variety of tea flavours, fruits and coffee plus additions like milk and sweeteners.

Growing up, I remember seeing their iconic bull skull on the Escalade and seeing this hotel as I drove around the area. Dream come true. I’ve had the pleasure of being able to stay in this amazing hotel! Think vibe: vintage, classy, comfy. Super friendly people. I booked through AMEX platinum and The Hotel Collection and was able to enjoy the $100 credit on their fully stocked fridge and snacks. If you’re able to get a room with a view of the parks, do it.

My wife and I booked a room for our anniversary. To be candid we were frustrated that there was a large loud meeting right outside our suite that started at 6:00am. Also the valet didn't communicate well. What really saved the experience, happened after the fact. We completed a private survey for the hotel and we were honest about our experience. The hotel manager got back to us immediately (same day) listened to our concerns and worked it all out with us. I have to say I really appreciate a brand that cares about its reputation and its customers. They are going to look at implementing some changes based on our experience. Thank you hotel zaza team, we will stay again, and hopefully will be able to give a full five stars after our next visit.

Excellent service went above and beyond. My car would not start in the valet parking garage, and the valet team was exceedingly kind and accommodating. Ignacio helped jump the car, and when that didn't work helped accommodate us in getting it fixed. All this on Thanksgiving day. Ignacio saved Thanksgiving! The hotel itself is also lovely. I had the best cornbread pancakes

I loved the lobby and overall aesthetics of the hotel but I will say the juice was not worth squeeze because I didn’t see anything stand out in the rooms different from other 4-5 star hotels that I’ve paid less for. However I did love the customer service from valet, the front desk, housekeeping, and the bell service. The room itself was conformable as far as the bed and the toiletries were good. I was surprised that the rooms came with drinks and beverages but not a mini fridge. You could tell they’ve made some upgrades but things like the AC Thermostat was old lol. I also think they need a better system for check-out // the elevators because it took almost 45 minutes to leave on a Sunday (including valet and just being able to get on one). We ended up having to use the stairs with our belongings and bags and a few other guests had to do the same. Last thing I’ll say is that the artwork in the lobby is pretty dope!
