The Moran Citycentre has an ongoing hot water problem. During my stay, there was NO hot water, meaning no hot showers. When I informed the front desk, they said they were aware of the issue. A prolonged lack of hot water raises serious concerns about basic operations…laundry and food service rely on proper temperatures and sanitation standards. Now the stains on the bedsheets make sense. It’s just GROSS. What’s worse, if you read the reviews, this appears to be a recurring issue that’s been mentioned repeatedly. I just wish I had seen those reviews before booking. Also, don’t expect to sleep past 8am. Housekeeping came twice to knock on the door in the morning, ignoring the Do Not Disturb sign. The manager, Juan Rodriguez, was also informed of the issues but there was no response. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I moved from Houston a few years ago and came back to visit, staying here at The Moran knowing it is in a great location. The room is spacious, beautiful and has a nice view of City Centre. I was worried it might be loud at night, but after the normal evening activities it is very quiet. Ryan and Jessica at the front desk are fantastic, kind and accommodating. Maria at breakfast provided super fast service and was able to make me a delicious decaf latte. I will keep coming back here when visiting Houston; they have made me truly feel at home while providing an upscale experience!

I had a great stay at the Moran Hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall experience was smooth from check-in to check-out. The front desk staff truly stood out, especially America. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful, and made me feel genuinely welcomed. Her customer service really made a difference and added so much to my stay. I would definitely recommend the Moran Hotel and would happily stay here again.

My best friend and I booked The Moran for our short staycation - just one night away from home to celebrate and pamper ourselves. I called ahead and asked if they could do something special for our celebration and they more than delivered! We are so appreciative. The hotel is spotless, modern, and smells like heaven. The location is perfect, with great restaurants and shopping literally steps away. We booked a package that included a credit at the restaurant on site, and the food was really good. I think we've found our spot for future staycations!

Incredible stay! My husband and I spent the weekend here for his birthday staycation. Overall the hotel is beautiful, it’s looks and smells clean. We were greeted by Julie and Jessica upon arriving and felt instantly welcomed. They are top of class in customer service and are the reason I would stay here again. The rooms were comfortable and stylish. We loved the convenience of different eateries / shops in walking distance. My only area of growth would be the complimentary shuttle service— the shuttle is open until 10pm and at 7pm we needed a quick run to Target which is less than 2 miles away. The shuttle driver verbally communicated that they stop shuttle service at 8:30pm. He mentioned being able to drop us off but that we’d have to figure out how to get back. This was confusing and disappointing since we had just come back from the lobby where we were informed that it was open until 10pm. This was not a make or break moment for us but I do feel that if a service is being included as an amenity, that it’s actually usable.
