Stayed at the Moran this past weekend for the rodeo 3/6-3/8 and was initially impressed by the modern look of the hotel. It’s clean, the first floor smells incredible, and the staff were really nice. The stay overall was very good. The location is amazing and you’re right in the heart of a plethora of shops and great eats. The pool and gym are a little underwhelming but they do exist. The main reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the hotel lacks a microwave! With so many food options, of course we had to try lots of different restaurants and obviously had plenty to take out and box up for leftovers. Was bummed when I eventually found out from the front desk that not only do the rooms or floors contain no microwave, the entire hotel doesn’t have one single microwave! That’s mind blowing. Needless to say we had to toss out lots of leftover food because this modern hotel couldn’t put a $25 dollar microwave in each room. Overall things were great but that was my one tick with this hotel.

Great visit! Jesse was super welcoming and kind. We came here for a family staycation on my birthday weekend. He offered us a complimentary bottle of wine and really did all he could to accommodate us. The hotel was very beautiful and in a convenient location. We would love to visit again

I had a great stay at the Moran Hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall experience was smooth from check-in to check-out. The front desk staff truly stood out, especially America. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful, and made me feel genuinely welcomed. Her customer service really made a difference and added so much to my stay. I would definitely recommend the Moran Hotel and would happily stay here again.

Great stay. Great Staff. Great smell!!!! The views were nice and the bedding was luxurious! Great space to unwind. The staff are all helpful and friendly day & night, great location for walking and shopping plus the hotel offers private parking area and safe entry ways. It smells like a resort and I was super obsessed.

The room reeked of mildew, especially in the bathroom. The soap did not smell good, either. We checked in very late and were too exhausted to fool with it. Also, it seemed that only 2 of the 4 elevators were working. There was a party in the bar, which is right next to the check in desk, so the idea of waiting AGAIN with a bunch of drunk revelers was not going to happen. We got up early and checked out without even showering. This location is amazing in regards to a fun night out. I don't understand why the hotel is so incredibly sub par. It's definitely a gilded establishment, looks good on the surface but crappy underneath. This was our anniversary night out, so we were really disappointed with the quality of the room. I stayed there when it was the Sonesta many years ago and it was lovely. I have referred family and friends there, but will not be doing that anymore.
