Hotel Bella

As others have said, price was lower online (in fact, right now it says $69 for a room; we paid over $100) so its kind of a bait and switch. Also, as others have said, the staff keeps their family and little children in the lobby running around. Not professional. Hotel is appealing from the outside, but the rooms lack functionality. Particularly, the shower and sink had issues. Shower literally leaked water all over the floor (I don't know why hotels don't want to fix this; its damaging to the property, at the least) but this causes potential danger and slippage when you get out. Sink water was a JOKE and literally dribbled out of the faucet (see pictures). Bathroom exhaust fan was SUPER loud and annoying. Tried to upload a video of the noisy fan, but was unsuccessful. Bed was OK, which was one of the better parts. But as others have said, this is located in a bad part of Houston, so beware when you stay there.

AFAIK all the rooms have an oversized shower that fits more than 2 people WITH and observation window to watch from the bed.....I think we all know what kind of hotel this is and what it's supposed to be for. My wife and I have frenquented this hotel on special occasions for a few years now and I gotta say this last stay was the worst. I had to hook up the cold water to the sink, had to hook up the cable, the "rainfall" shower head sprayed in 100 different directions, the shower door wouldn't stay closed, and the shower controls were coming off the wall. The beds are wildly uncomfortable was well. There use to be a nice awning over the lobby area and that's been removed without trying to hide were the mounts used to be so it just looks like it fell off. It's pretty clear to me based on multiple experiences that this property has changed hands and the new owners don't seem to care if it falls to pieces or not

the front lady was really rude and she had crying babies running around the lobby. you guys need to bring that one nice guy back. we were trying to get checked in and she seemed like she doesn’t want us there and we drove over an hour to get here. UPDATE the lady called my phone number which i never said she could call and started yelling at me. there were also always drug dealings and cops around the area so just be careful

Great location. Lots of food and stores within walking distance. The front desk was very welcoming, junior suite was spacious, clean and very cozy. Lots of pillows and towels. I would definitely stay here again.

Came out to be more expensive than it said online. The metal hinges that add extra security on the front door are loose. If someone opens your door with a key card there’s no extra security to keep them from coming in. Restroom was clean and there was enough towels for our stay. Room smelled like smoke even tho It was a non smoking room. Room looks like it is not taken care of. I paid $90 for a one bedroom. I stayed here when it first opened and it was newer. They have been slacking in upkeep. And I’m pretty sure there’s bugs on the beds.
