Updated I have received immediate response from the Manager and she is looking into improvements. I am really thankful and glad to see the leadership response and willing to improve and take feedback in a constructive manner. Perfect location Beds needs some upgrade v Breakfast was not upto the standard of hilton. Eggs were like powder, potatoes not fried well need more staff to do cleaning of the food area. Reception Staff was courteous

Homewood Suites is a nice hotel. It is everything, great location. Next to The Galleria Mall with over 300 stores, Saks, Casa Do Brasil, Sage 400, Nordstrom Rack, T. J. Maxx, Conservatory, and many others. The suite was nice, clean, and very affordable. Especially considering it's location. Service and housekeeping was great. And they have a Continental breakfast.

The location is great and within walking distance to a variety of places. However, there was only ever 1-person at the front desk (even during busy check-in time). I was placed in a room that was clearly not finished being cleaned. The bathroom was dirty and there was a wet rag left on the toilet. Not only was it dirty, but a member of housekeeping walked right into our room (no knocking, no announcement, no nothing) while we were chatting on the couch. She was apologetic but that’s still unacceptable. Front desk was also apologetic and very quick to switch our room. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room. The TV in the bedroom didn’t work-it kept saying the channels were restricted and the display was garbled-so we’re had to switch it out with the one in the living room because we’re didn’t want to switch rooms again. We didn’t even want to try breakfast, we just checked out early.

I couldn’t do an early check due to the hotel having issues with their water. This wasn’t a big deal as I understand early check ins are not guaranteed. The hotel room didn’t smell clean. There was a weird smell. The AC wasn’t working properly & had to be fixed. The maintenance employee did promptly fix the issue. The parking garage entrance is on an incline which made scanning the room key to open the gate for the parking garage difficult. Once in the garage, you have to take an elevator to get to the first floor of the hotel lobby then a different elevator to get to the hotel rooms. The door of the hotel lobby requires a room key to open. While this is a good security measure, it’s a tad bit inconvenient. The breakfast on day 1 was great! It included eggs, bacon, potatoes and various other items. Breakfast on day 2 (pictured) did not look good at all. The tub in one of my rooms looked a little dirty and the bathroom smelled like urine. This hotel could be nice. It just needs a little TLC

Located in the sage roaad in downtown Houston, this place is close to all nearby restaurants, cafe, mall and well connected to offices. Breakfast is available here. In the room, one will get freezer, microwave, oven, utensils. Basic amenities are available to prepare your own meal. Service was good.
