We went to Houston so my girl (dog) could have specialty surgery. Previously, we had stayed at 2 other hotels in the area and Homewood Suites is the only one we'd return to. The room was incredible: very clean, well-stocked kitchen, spacious, comfortable, well-equipped, and everything functioned well, including the thermostat. The breakfast is great- good variety of options and delicious. I didn't use the laundry nor the fitness room. The TV was poor quality and had limited channels, but it was good enough. The shower was amazing. The ladies at the front desk were very nice. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same for the remainder of the staff. Overall, they were unpleasant to interact with. I'd smile and get a frown in return. At breakfast once, they had started to clean it up 15 minutes prior to the set time for breakfast to end (9AM) and I asked if I could take something and the staff member scowled at me, stopped picking up the food, and walked away. So, other than a couple uncomfortable interactions with the staff, the hotel itself was great and we'll be returning if we ever find ourselves in the area again.

We were very happy with our stay at Homewood Suites. The room was spacious and clean. The entire building felt very clean. We were surprised at the Wednesday social and breakfast offerings! Javier was helping with the social hour and he really took pride in the food and making sure everyone was happy. The manager, Tracy reached out to make sure we were pleased and Deliesha checked in after a couple of days. Hands down, we would stay here again and will recommend to others. They are doing everything just right!

Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience!!!I had an awful experience at the Hilton Houston Memorial City that I would not wish on anyone. I originally tried to cancel my reservation due to a family emergency, but no one ever answered the phone. Since I couldn’t reach anyone, I decided to still come. I called ahead to reconfirm and let them know I would be checking in late, and I was told that was fine. This is Houston a busy city so arriving early morning shouldn’t have been an issue. My reservation was for two nights (1/9/26–1/11/26). When I arrived around 6 a.m., the manager refused to let me check in and claimed I was a “no call, no show,” even though I had already called and confirmed. I was told I would have to rebook entirely, which made no sense since I had already paid for two nights. I had to call customer service while standing in the lobby, exhausted and overwhelmed. After almost two hours of back and forth, they finally said they could transfer the reservation, but I had to pay a $150 deposit. That was fine — I expected a deposit — but the front desk agent then asked if the card was my boyfriend’s and if he was with me. That question felt completely inappropriate and unnecessary. At that point, I was crying in the lobby at 8 a.m. from the stress and anxiety. I didn’t get into my room until almost 9 a.m., with a headache and emotionally drained from the ordeal. The next day at checkout (12 p.m.), I called to ask if I could extend checkout briefly so I could get myself together. I was told they don’t allow extensions. By 12:30, I received a call saying I’d be charged $50 for being late. I agreed because I didn’t have the energy to argue anymore. I explained everything that happened at check-in, and the staff member said she was just following instructions, but she did allow me until 1 p.m. due to the issues I experienced. Overall, this stay was unnecessarily stressful, poorly handled, and lacked basic customer care and empathy. The communication failures, refusal to honor my reservation, and inappropriate questioning were unacceptable. I expected much better from a Hilton property. I would not recommend staying here.

We were passing through, headed back to the east coast. I found this hotel on the Hilton app and booked. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to find and the cleanliness of the hotel. Full kitchenette with a small stove top. HUGE lobby area. Unfortunately we missed breakfast. BUT the one thing that upset me was the $150 hold that was placed on my card for incidentals. We checked in at 1:30am and checked out at 11am. I wasn’t there long enough to fully enjoy the hotel. But it would’ve been nice to know that they hold that much on your card before booking. Most hotels hold a max of $75 so $150 for one night is extreme.

Was not going to come here and put a review. My stay was great from start to end, everything was great until I realized the day after I left that I left my brand new Apple Pencil in the room . Called to ask if they had seen it, the front desk Tracey said she’d check in their lost and found and would let me know. I never did get that call back and later called and I believe it was the same person I spoke to. She said yes the housekeeping manager said they never saw anything. She didn’t sound helpful or understanding at all, was so quick to say would there be anything else which was what made it even more disappointing. This was a lovely stay for me which has since turned sour
