Holiday Inn Houston Westchase

I had a great stay at this hotel and was especially impressed with both the room and the restaurant bar. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well set up for work, with a large desk, strong Wi-Fi, and air conditioning that worked exceptionally well—something I really appreciate when traveling. I ended up dining at the restaurant bar two nights in a row, and the food was excellent both times. What truly stood out, though, was the service. Mariah provided outstanding service—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—which made the experience even better. Because of the overall comfort of the stay and the excellent service, especially from Mariah, I already plan to stay here again next month. Highly recommend.

The staff here are wonderful. Front desk was extremely kind and provided my diamond upgrade without issues. Mariah at the restaurant bar was personable and efficient! My room was clean and updated. Enjoyed my stay.

Hilton hotels have always been top notch and I have been here for a film festival, the HAAPIFest. They would have a buffet of food from the hotel's kitchen, the food were great but it was mostly Italian style food, like pasta and pizza. The restroom in the lobby is well kept. If I need a hotel to stay the nearby area, I would choose this hotel.

Rooms are cleans, staffs are nice. But during our stay, ALL elevators were down. And we literally must use the stairs to go up to our 4th floor carrying a toddler and all the bags. So no, never again!

Dirty, and dead bed bugs in two separate rooms! I had a very disappointing and unsettling experience at this hotel and would strongly caution others before booking. I was moved to two different rooms, and both had dead bed bugs in plain sight near the bed. The first time I reported it, I was told it was “probably water bugs.” I’ve attached photos, but I know what bed bugs look like, and water bugs do not have stripes. The second time I reported it, I was made to feel like I was being paranoid, even though both bugs were clearly visible without searching. You can see both images of the bugs have different carpet, showing that they were found in two different rooms. The rooms were also extremely humid, almost like there was no air conditioning, and had a strong musty odor. I remained calm and respectful throughout and never blamed the front desk, as I understand it wasn’t their fault. The associate was polite, but the situation overall was handled poorly. When I requested a refund, I waited about 15 minutes to be helped because I was only assisted when the lobby was empty, apparently to avoid other residents over-hearing about the situation. The refund process then took additional time while the front desk contacted the general manager. By the time it was resolved, it was around 9 PM, and I had an early morning for work. Despite the situation, I received no apology, compensation, or points, which was extremely disappointing. I understand issues can happen, and maybe I was unlucky with the rooms. However, finding bed bugs in two rooms and the lack of urgency and care in addressing it was unacceptable. I did not feel safe staying. I would not stay here again and would advise others to think twice before booking.
