I recently stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and had a pleasant experience overall. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with essentials like towels, toiletries, and a coffee maker. The breakfast was decent with a good variety of hot and cold options, though it could have been a bit more plentiful during peak times. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the location was convenient for nearby restaurants and attractions. Overall, a solid choice for a comfortable and reliable stay. I’d recommend it for both business and leisure travelers looking for consistency and convenience.

I specifically booked this IHG property because it advertised a hot tub. My daughter had just won NCA after an intense competition, and her body was extremely sore. The hot tub was not just a “bonus” — it was the deciding factor in choosing this hotel. At no point during booking or check-in was I told the hot tub was not working. There was no notice online and no disclosure from staff. We only discovered the issue when we went down to use it — and the water was ice cold. When I brought it to the front desk’s attention, I was told to speak to a manager in the morning. The next morning, there was no manager available. Another employee stated the issue was “above his pay grade” and suggested I should have called ahead to confirm the amenity was working before booking. That response was unacceptable. Guests should not have to double-check whether advertised amenities are actually operational. When I finally spoke with a manager, I was told she would “check and see what could be done.” There was no immediate solution, no real accountability, and no meaningful follow-up before we left. The facility itself was clean — but clean does not excuse misrepresentation of amenities or poor customer service. If a major amenity like a hot tub is out of service, guests deserve to be informed before they book or at minimum at check-in — not after walking into an ice-cold tub. Very disappointing experience!!!

Greeted warmly. The room was clean, furnishings were good, walk-in shower was great! There is construction in the area so allow for potential delay. The restaurant had some nice choices and friendly service there.

Ayushi, Trevor, and Marzanta were all very helpful and polite! Rooms and entire hotel were very clean and it was also very quiet. The southwest salad at the on site restaurant was delicious. I highly recommend!!

Flight got cancelled until the following morning so I got a room at this hotel so I could be close by. They offer a complementary shuttle but when I tried calling no one answered. I called customer service and they couldn't get any one on the phone at the hotel either. So I end up getting an Uber. Upon arrival,there was an employee who identified herself as the manager. She was on what appeared to be her personal cell phone. She tried to check me in and then notes that my room is not paid for and that she could not accept the card information over the phone for the room but could for the incidentals. Then left me to go to the bathroom only to reappear coming from outside. My manager had to book my room through a 3rd party in order for me to check in. Then she(the manager) didn't know if the restaurant inside the hotel allowed you to add your meal to the room. If you are the manager, shouldn't you know that? Food at the restaurant was ok. Drinks were great,as well as the service from the bartender and waiter. Room was very nice. Confused as to why the main light switch controlled the bathroom light. On the up side, bed was comfortable. I appreciate the Dove products as well. Upon checking out,the employee at the desk was very blah like she didn't want to deal with me. Then noted that she can't print me a final receipt. Based on my experience with the hotel staff, I doubt I would return. Otherwise,it was a good experience.
