Our stay is always a pleasant experience here. The location is ideal for easy access to the airport. Exiting the property can be quite dangerous given there are no lights to slow traffic. Cars are usually flying past the hotel to get to Will Clayton Pkwy. Other than that, the hotel is immaculate. You can expect hot showers and high pressure. I would suggest improving the cleaning in the showers to remove hair and other particles. Overall, I look forward to staying here.

Flight got cancelled until the following morning so I got a room at this hotel so I could be close by. They offer a complementary shuttle but when I tried calling no one answered. I called customer service and they couldn't get any one on the phone at the hotel either. So I end up getting an Uber. Upon arrival,there was an employee who identified herself as the manager. She was on what appeared to be her personal cell phone. She tried to check me in and then notes that my room is not paid for and that she could not accept the card information over the phone for the room but could for the incidentals. Then left me to go to the bathroom only to reappear coming from outside. My manager had to book my room through a 3rd party in order for me to check in. Then she(the manager) didn't know if the restaurant inside the hotel allowed you to add your meal to the room. If you are the manager, shouldn't you know that? Food at the restaurant was ok. Drinks were great,as well as the service from the bartender and waiter. Room was very nice. Confused as to why the main light switch controlled the bathroom light. On the up side, bed was comfortable. I appreciate the Dove products as well. Upon checking out,the employee at the desk was very blah like she didn't want to deal with me. Then noted that she can't print me a final receipt. Based on my experience with the hotel staff, I doubt I would return. Otherwise,it was a good experience.

I am writing to share my deep frustration regarding our recent stay at the Holiday Inn near Bush International Airport in Houston, TX. As a rewards member who has stayed with Holiday Inn for four decades, I expected the standard level of comfort and hospitality I’ve come to rely on. Unfortunately, we met with a room that smelled unwashed and a thermostat set to a stifling 80 degrees on an 84 degrees warm day on 1/2/2026. When I sought assistance for extra bedding, I was met with excuses rather than service. The female supervisor claimed that extra blankets and sheets were unavailable because I hadn't requested them at the time of booking. It is unlikely they ran out of extra bedding while their parking lot was almost empty. It is both illogical and inhospitable. Finally, we were never informed of the $150 security deposit when we check-in. It felt like a predatory practice, especially compared to the $50 fee at the San Antonio Riverwalk location we stayed at the night before. We checked in after 8pm and had to get up at 2am to catch early flights. This experience was a significant disappointment, and we will never stay at this Holiday Inn again.

I've stayed at this hotel many times as well as referring out of towners visiting to stay here. But my recent stay exposed their disregard to customers to me. I woke to find my vehicle vandalized while parked in the Diamond elite "front" row parking. Truck cover ripped off, tailgate open, taillights missing, and goods taken from the back. All while cameras were monitoring the parking lot. When I asked for footage, they took my name and said that a manager would contact me. Waited 2 days and called back to have the manager say that she would look into it again. Then completely ignore the matter. and it was swept under the rug, needless to say. Never will I risk the chance to stay here again!

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a hotel near Bush International Airport. For me, I was in town on business and it’s somewhat off of the beaten path so it wasn’t convenient at all. I only rated 4 stars due to location.
