Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Houston West Katy Mills

This is by far the best hotel in the Katy area! The rooms are huge, incredibly spacious, and spotlessly clean. Everything is well maintained, and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is amazing with plenty of delicious options to choose from every morning. What truly makes this hotel special is the outstanding staff. Jasmine and the entire team are exceptionally kind, welcoming, and friendly. They treat every guest like family and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. If you're looking for a place where you'll feel at home, this is it. I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express in Katy, and I will definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn & Suites Houston West - Katy Mills by IHG and overall had a really positive experience. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The staff was friendly and efficient, which made settling in after travel very easy. The room itself was a highlight—very spacious and comfortable. We had twin beds, along with a nice living room area that gave us extra space to relax. It also came equipped with a mini fridge and microwave, which was super convenient, especially for longer stays or traveling with family. Breakfast each morning was great, with a good variety of options to choose from. The coffee, in particular, stood out it was fresh, flavorful, and definitely a great way to start the day. Housekeeping was a bit of a mixed experience. On the second day, our room was cleaned while we were out, which we appreciated. However, on another day, housekeeping came by while we were still in the room. We let them know we were heading out shortly and informed the receptionist that the room could be cleaned afterward. Unfortunately, when we returned later, the room hadn’t been serviced. It wasn’t a major issue, but something that could be improved for consistency. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The 24-hour front desk is always friendly and accommodating. The pool is indoors and heated, which is great. A couple of days it was pretty foggy water but I know for a fact the night before there were many people and kids having fun in the pool so I'm sure that takes a day or two to become completely clear again. There's of course a small fitness center and a room with a league size table in it as well. A restaurant and most importantly with a bar on site there's also a Wendy's basically in the same parking lot. Good location ;safe area of town

We recently stayed here while visiting our son and daughter-in-law in Katy. I'm not sure why the reviews were so low. The hotel is immaculately clean. The front desk was extremely kind and efficient in getting us checked in and making sure we had the rooms we wanted. We were traveling with another party so she put the rooms right next to each other, which was so nice of her. I got a price for one bedroom with two queen beds for $114 from Hotels.com. The hotel could only offer $120 with tax. I would definitely stay here again. The parking lot is very bright and well lit to prevent break-ins. My only negative is that they charge $14 for breakfast. Breakfast should be included with your stay at Holiday Inn and similar hotels in my opinion.

Friendly service and good location. Burger joint inside but only open at 5 pm. When we visited on a weekday, only 1 person was working at the front of the restaurant, and she had to take orders, make drinks, deliver room service orders, and give bills to all tables eating in the restaurant. It's impossible for her to do it all. But her attitude was the greatest and warmest. I hope the operation of hotel recognizes, and also provides her support in the future.
