Holiday Inn Express & Suites HOU I 10 West Energy Corridor

The lack of professionalism from Michelle at the front desk was unbelievable. I checked into the room and the lady that originally waited on me was very nice courteous and by the book. Later that evening I went to take my kids a bath and the water would not drain from the tub. I tried calling the front desk from the phone in the room but it did not work so called the front desk from my cell phone. Michelle picked up very rude and when I told her the issue I was having she screamed in the phone “what”. Again, I explained my problem and let her know that the issue was urgent and needed to be addressed immediately. She then tells me maintenance has left for the day and she would call me back. She never called back! I went down to the front desk and she once again had an attitude and told me it was nothing they could do but give me a refund. She then gets on the phone with someone in the corner telling them “what do you want to do with this lady she is pissed”. She then tells me she can’t refund me because I paid through a third party. I tell her this is the worst customer service ever she says to me “ You can’t win them all”. This lady’s lack of sympathy was ridiculous on an issue that was caused by the hotel and not resolved. The way she handled the situation and the lack of consideration is what made the situation worse. I understand that issues arise but because of Michelle’s horrible attitude this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a Comfort Suites.

Here are my 3 major reasons why I will not stay here again. 1. I was given a key, when I got to the room, there was a clear bag with some items in it, I thought maybe house keeping sat it there because she was two doors down. So I walk in the room and the door comes off the hinges. 2. The lady at the front desk gives me another key to another room, so my baby and I open the door and walk in and there’s someone’s clothes, food, smokes, shoes etc in the room . Wasn’t sure if someone was in the bathroom because I grabbed my baby and ran out. 3. This is the main reason I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL NOR STAY THERE EVER AGAIN. My daughter and I were laying in the bed watching tv and I could hear noise at the door this was around 10:30pm or 11pm at night. but I thought it was the tv or someone at ice machine because there was a man who kept going back to the ice machine with huge bins of ice on the luggage cart carrier. So I thought maybe he went back so I look at the bottom of the door and I didn’t see foot shadows, but I’m still hearing the noise after muting the tv. So I get up and walk to the door and look out the peephole and there’s a man in a blue shirt opening my door with a room key, no luggage with his head in the corner of my door. Thank GOD I had the latch on the door or anything could have happened to me and my baby. It was extremely scary. What was crazy to me is that the lady at the front desk was the one who changed my room multiple times and was the same woman at the desk when I left out of fear for me and my daughter safety, so SHE KNEW WE WERE IN THAT ROOM and then smiled as I was leaving saying I’m so sorry about that ma’am again. When they did nothing to ensure me and my babies safety. It was extremely weird. Stay at your own risk. But as for me I WILL NEVER AGAIN. And have yet to be refunded or contacted back from management or corporate.

Rooms were not ready for guests. Remodeling with no trim a dead roach under were trim should be. Shower door wouldn't stay shut water got all over floor. Food was disgusting. Holes in wall were plates should be. Front desknlady not super friendly. Wouldn't stay again. Needs so much more work.

My stay has been less than comforting. The day after my first night's stay, a roach greeted me at the desk in my room. I was moved to a lower floor. I've been staying over a week. The hot water has barely worked the entire time. The housekeeping staff has lied not once but twice about cleaning our room. It's very disheartening to come back from work to see the staff doesn't have to do their job. The front desk ladies have been pleasant, but the ball is heavily dropped by housekeeping and I'm going to request my company pay for a different hotel. The lackluster efforts here have been overwhelming. * I don't eat breakfast, but I've been hearing they run out of stuff regularly. It's almost like they don't want to provide the included breakfast. Edit: It's like pulling teeth to get clean towels, mainly because they aren't cleaning rooms which means they can't collect them. Only one elevator works, with no evidence they plan to fix the other. I'm typing this the morning after I posted the original review. I was greeted by a roach this morning. If they took care of the trash I wouldn't see their pet roaches roaming around my room.

My stay at the Comfort Inn Energy Corridor in Katy, Texas was very comfortable. The location is excellent, close to restaurants, shops, and with easy access to the highway. The hotel is clean, quiet, and offers spacious, well-kept rooms. The staff was friendly and attentive at all times, and I especially want to thank Ángela, who was an excellent person—very kind and helpful. The complimentary breakfast, while simple, was sufficient and varied. Overall, a great option to stay in the area, with a very good value for the price.”😇. This was my second stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Katy, Texas, and once again I felt right at home. 🌟 The lobby staff were incredibly kind and attentive, the rooms spotless 🛏️✨, and the hotel overall very clean. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast 🥐☕ once more. Every visit confirms that this is a comfortable and reliable place. I highly recommend returning and seeing for yourself. Another wonderful experience! 💖
