This was my first time in Houston, here on business. The surrounding area of this hotel is pretty sketchy, but the staff here are amazing! Everyone who works here is incredibly helpful and friendly. Room was clean. Great breakfast options. Weekday happy hour in the lobby with complimentary drinks. Tons of nearby restaurant delivery options to the hotel, so even though the area is ghetto you really don't have to leave. The general manager is awesome, will accommodate anything you need. There is an outdoor pool with outdoor hot tub, fitness center, and a guest laundry. Enjoyed my stay here.

About the worst thing about this hotel is the traffic in the area, which of course is not their fault to begin with...but a word to the wise, it is much easier to get into this property coming from I-45 than from US-290, this is just my observation. I did have one minor complaint and that is that the view from my room was that of the back side of some businesses including a bar's wooden deck, but oh well. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. My special kudos go out to (I believe his name was) Johnathan at the front desk for his friendliness and for knowing the restaurant he recommended was exactly 2.3 miles from the hotel and to housekeeper Araceli for a very clean room. I felt very safe and secure at this hotel and plan to stay there once again the next time I am in the area. To the management, great job overall!

We had a problem with our room. I called to report it & was told we could move to another smaller room or take a small credit. It was already 1am, so leaving the room was too much work as we were only staying 1 night. The beds were comfortable & staff was nice. The customer service needs to be better. I feel that we should have been offered half or a full refund.

The room is very clean, neat, and organized. I am on the ground floor with two queen sized beds. Front desk employees are nice. The hotel has a business room with a laptop and printer, an outside pool, and a workout room. Free breakfast in the mornings from 6-9am. The location of the hotel is hard to find, it's tucked in behind the street side buildings. There is a large pothole on the drive way in.

The room was good and bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that the pool was freezing COLD!! And the temp outside was 80 degrees, super windy....yet it took me and my family about an hour to push ourselves inch by inch into the water. Our main reason on booking the hotel was to swim for the kids. So we were super disappointed on that note.
