My family of four stayed here for one night for a basketball game. We arrived a little after 3pm assuming our room would be ready. However, Samantha who checked us in said the room type I reserved was still being cleaned. She offered to see if a different type was available but due to the busy Christmas rush, nothing was available. She asked housekeeping to expedite cleaning our room and told us about 20 minutes and we could check out the amenities while we waited. My kids wanted to check out the pool so I got them from the car and asked if we could go up to the pool. The manager, Aaron said we typically need a room key but since we didn’t have a room yet, he offered to walk us up to the pool himself to let us in. While we were waiting for the elevator, he told my boys they could go pick out a snack to enjoy by the pool and the snack was on the hotel. Not even 10 minutes later, Samantha came and got us at the pool to tell us our room was ready. She got us all checked in and was kind enough to reduce the cost of the parking due to having to wait for a room. Our room was nice and cool. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious as always when we stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels. This was probably the best Holiday Inn Express that we’ve ever stayed at. I would gladly stay here again the next time we come to Houston.

My recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express Houston – Galleria was excellent and made our Houston trip even more comfortable and convenient. The hotel is in a prime location near The Galleria, which made it very easy to get to nearby shopping, dining, and attractions like the Water Wall and Uptown area. The room was clean, modern, and well laid out, with a comfortable bed and all the essentials for a relaxed stay. The staff members were friendly and helpful throughout, from check-in to checkout, and small gestures of hospitality really made the experience feel welcoming. Breakfast was a big plus, with a good variety of hot and cold options that helped us start each day without needing to hunt for food elsewhere. The property also felt safe and well maintained, and on-site amenities like parking and easy freeway access made getting around the city simple. Overall, it is a great place to stay near the Galleria, and highly recommended for families and travelers looking for both comfort and convenience.

Desk service was exceptional at 11 PM Sunday night! Gave water at our request before going to our rooms. The ladies were patient as we had to fix our online reservation. The morning desk team were equally kind and responsive. We came to this hotel having to leave another one that was not clean. Breakfast was not what I would want to eat. But, it's free so there's that. The coffee was pretty good. Definitely our pick whenever we visit Houston again!

I visited my sister, who has been living there since she works with GE. The rooms are nice, and I enjoyed the pool view. However, during breakfast last Sunday, December 7, I found a black hair on the egg. This was unacceptable. The chef needs to be more attentive to hygiene and food preparation to prevent this from happening again.

On all accounts, this might be the best Holiday Inn Express that I have visited and I have been in one in most of the states in the country. It begins and ends with the service. Tamyra was phenomenal. She went above and beyond, which clearly indicates her upper management potential (in the opinion of a former management consultant). As a HS teacher and a basketball coach, she served my team and school quite well. The rooms were clean and wonderful. The location was ideal. Thank you Tamyra and thank you Holiday Inn Express - Gallery Area.
