This was hands down the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere was so nice and cozy. It truly felt like a home away from home. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything you need to relax. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and high quality stay.

My recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express Houston – Galleria was excellent and made our Houston trip even more comfortable and convenient. The hotel is in a prime location near The Galleria, which made it very easy to get to nearby shopping, dining, and attractions like the Water Wall and Uptown area. The room was clean, modern, and well laid out, with a comfortable bed and all the essentials for a relaxed stay. The staff members were friendly and helpful throughout, from check-in to checkout, and small gestures of hospitality really made the experience feel welcoming. Breakfast was a big plus, with a good variety of hot and cold options that helped us start each day without needing to hunt for food elsewhere. The property also felt safe and well maintained, and on-site amenities like parking and easy freeway access made getting around the city simple. Overall, it is a great place to stay near the Galleria, and highly recommended for families and travelers looking for both comfort and convenience.

Honestly it's a nice hotel, but the service sucks. Started before checking in, they emailed us while we were on a flight saying "you need to contact us to provide a payment method before 2pm or your booking will be cancelled". Our flight landed at 2:15 so you can imagine the panic that ensued as soon as we reconnected to the Internet. This was especially annoying given that when I called in, they said they already had a card on file the whole time. After checking in we went to the pool. Advertised all around the pool is QR codes to order food directly to the pool side. We figured we would give it a try and ordered dinner. Over an hour later, still no food. We go down to check in on our order and apparently it has been sitting for the past 45 minutes and was now cold. They said it was because the order was marked for pick up, even though it said on the receipt pool-side order, and we paid the extra $5 for delivery. It's a shame because the hotel is nice and the location is not bad, but so far service has fumbled every opportunity to impress. Absolutely do not recommend.

Easy to get to off the highway and near the galleria mall on the opposite side of the highway. Parking was in garage behind the hotel and was kind of inconvenient while the elevator was out of service the first day. Plan on luggage loading and unloading at the front of the hotel if garage elevator is out of service. It was only that way on the Tuesday we arrived so not sure the circumstances. Garage seemed secure though, so no worries there. Was within easy walking distance to the velvet taco and the gas station next to that restaurant but didn't feel comfortable walking much further. Traffic was a little overwhelming for first day in Houston so nerves were already tested when we arrived. Rooms were nice. Breakfast was combined with the shared hotel space and was easy to figure out. Was a little confusing at first because it seemed like there was 2 separate breakfast areas and maybe it is used for super busy times. Not sure.

Desk service was exceptional at 11 PM Sunday night! Gave water at our request before going to our rooms. The ladies were patient as we had to fix our online reservation. The morning desk team were equally kind and responsive. We came to this hotel having to leave another one that was not clean. Breakfast was not what I would want to eat. But, it's free so there's that. The coffee was pretty good. Definitely our pick whenever we visit Houston again!
