I love the consistency and value of IHG hotels. The people who work there are also always the nicest people. The gentlemen that checked us in was so nice and the lady that ran the breakfast was a gem. You can expect a great workout at the gym and then a great selection for breakfast. There's always coffee with tasty creamers in the lobby which was so needed to go to the Magical Winter Lights after a long day. Holiday Inn Express is now my go to for stays and I'll even elect to stay a night instead of driving home even if I'm within hour of home because of the amenities and service.

All the people are great. Sylvester stands out always going above and beyond to ensure our breakfast is hot and full. He will make sure my wife has the turkey sausage when we are here, which is about 5-6 times a year. There have been some issues of equipment, etc but that has improved lately.

I’m very disappointed about how the staff handled my situation being the first time I have ever stayed at the property. I originally booked the reservation when I booked my reservation. I called the day before to check the reservation status and was told that my reservation was canceled. I asked them why my reservation was canceled and they could not give me a clue to why my reservation was canceled. I said I would like to speak to a supervisor so they told me that they were gonna leave my contact information for a supervisor to contact me and a supervisor never contacted me. I got online and book another reservation when I arrive to the hotel I asked the front desk person about my reservation that was canceled. they stated that they did not know what was going on. The reason why my reservation was canceled. I said well why didn’t a manager give me a call like I Had asked, I was checked into the reservation that was supposedly that was canceled without me knowing I told him I was not checking into that reservation. I was checking into the reservation that I have booked the second time once I checked in the bathroom was dirty. the tub was full of hair. I did not complain about it at all, and I did not mention about anything at all about me having to clean the bathroom and it being full of hair I cleaned the restroom, myself and as well. As the tub when I checked out the room, I went about my day and then when I arrived to my house, I noticed that my credit card has been charged twice so I contact the front desk again and ask them. Why was my card charged twice? I was informed that my reservation That was canceled was charged as a no-show. I am very disappointed about how my problem never Was handled by the management team I was told again that a manager will contact me in the morning. I have been told the same thing three times. I have also contact customer support about the situation. She escalated the matter to a different department and when the representative was asking me what was going on? I was explaining everything to her and she hung up the call. I see that they do not value their customers like they say they do the Customer Service is poorly being handled and I’m very disappointed. The only great customer service that I did receive was from the lady that was working in the breakfast bar.

Sadly, we can't give this location a better than 3 star rating. At first, we thought this would be an excellent stay, but that didn't last long. The air conditioner in the room was loud even when we lowered the fan level and it was difficult to get a comfortable temperature in the room. There was also an issue with both outside noise and noise from the room above ours until well after midnight. Then the water pressure and temperature level were both underwhelming. If we hadn't been already tired from traveling and it being after 9pm we would have requested a room change. The lack of caring from the person working the front desk when we checked out in the morning didn't make things better. We definitely won't be staying at this location again.

This place is the best value accommodations we've experienced in quite awhile. Price was excellent, staff were uniformly helpful and courteous, and the breakfast service was solid. Good fitness center and guest washing machines are available. There is road noise from I-10 if you have an even numbered room and one elevator was not operational, but these were the only downsides we encountered.
