Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Houston Kingwood

Roons are clean and comfortable. The entire hotel looks and smells clean. I would recommend this hotel. We were disappointed that there was no pool. We walk down with our shorts to find a sign on pool door. One of the resons i book here was for the pool. On Google stills shows pool. On the holiday inn site it shows the picture of the pool with small font no pool. It was misleading.

Room was SUPER CLEAN…… I take wipes to clean and not one spec of dirt. Staff was generous and kind. Check in and out was fast Breakfast was amazing. Full breakfast bacon sausage pancakes bagels toast yogurt fruits oatmeal cinnamon buns Commuter hotel right off highway. We stayed two nights passing thru NO COMPLAINTS.. Only bad thing there was no pool and no indication of it before we booked. Under repair We would definitely stay again if we are in Texas

I booked and fully paid for my stay two days before arrival under the name **Abidov Adiz**. However, when I arrived at the hotel, the front desk staff told me that my payment had not gone through and refused to check me in. I showed them my booking confirmation, payment receipt, and proof that the reservation had already been paid, but they still insisted that I had to pay again. After a long and stressful discussion, I had no choice but to pay a second time with my credit card just to get a room. Fortunately, the booking service later refunded my original payment, but this situation should never have happened. The hotel should have verified the payment properly instead of making a guest pay twice. This experience caused unnecessary stress after a long trip and left a very negative impression. I expected much better service from a Holiday Inn hotel. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property based on my experience.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The customer service was outstanding, and the staff made me feel appreciated from check-in to check-out. Every detail was handled with care, and the room was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. It’s not often you stay somewhere that leaves such a positive impression, but this place absolutely did. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a stay that feels personal and special.

So I’ve been to many IHG properties and normally feel confident when booking a stay but this location really needs to get it together, I’m not sure if management or because the area is in but not what I’m use to when booking and rate was $167/night so it’s not like they’re a cheap motel. To start the Tv wasn’t a smart tv or even WiFi so you can’t stream anything but whatever is on cable tv, the remote didn’t even work only the volume and channel button. Then this morning at breakfast nothing worked, not the coffee machines, the pancake machine, and the juices were pure syrup because they weren’t calibrated correctly. And to put the cherry on top checkout is now at 11am instead of noon. O and the pool is permanently closed but online it gives the idea that there’s an indoor pool.
