I would describe this hotel as a true hidden gem. From the moment my sister and I stepped into the Aspen Grand Hotel, our experience was nothing short of delightful. The front desk staff—every single one of them—were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Each time we returned from a long day of work, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine hello, which truly made us feel at home. In addition to the outstanding customer service, the room was exceptionally clean and beautifully designed. The hotel also offers a hot breakfast with a wide variety of options, which was a wonderful bonus. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway away from the noise, the Aspen Grand Hotel is the perfect place. The pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the level of service and the artistic beauty of the rooms. Honestly, the experience felt like it was worth much more. I will definitely be returning. Don’t overlook this hidden gem—it is absolutely worth the stay.

I am giving one star because, despite a decent appearance at first glance and polite staff, the accumulation of problems made this stay unacceptable. Upon arrival, the sheets had clearly not been changed given the amount of hair in the bed. We had to request clean sheets and remake the bed ourselves. The trash can in the room was still full of the previous guest’s garbage. This level of negligence is unacceptable. The air conditioning is completely dysfunctional. It makes a very loud noise but produces almost no cool air. We had to choose between noise or heat. Either way, the nights were uncomfortable. Several amenities do not work. The dryer in the laundry room was out of service, leaving us with soaking wet clothes. The hair dryer in the room does not work either. In addition, one of the chairs in the room was assembled incorrectly and tilts forward only, making it unusable and potentially dangerous. Breakfast is nowhere near what is shown in the photos online, which are clearly misleading. No omelets, no bacon, no yogurt. Only a few slices of bread with a toaster that is insufficient for the number of guests and constantly occupied. The waffle machine was not functioning properly, the batter stuck and burned. This morning there was not even hot water or waffle batter available. Finally, the water from the drinking fountain in the lobby had an unpleasant smell and did not inspire any confidence regarding its quality. Taken individually, some of these issues might be excusable. However, their accumulation shows a clear lack of maintenance, oversight, and respect for guests. The few positive aspects are completely overshadowed by the numerous failures.

I decided to give this place a try due to an unexpected stop in Houston. The price was great. This hotel was much better than anticipated. I checked out before breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. Van, at the front desk was super helpful. Will stay here again.

I’m only giving this a bad review. We were supposed to stay the weekend but we end up cutting our weekend shore because for breakfast my niece went to go get my mom food. My mom‘s a breast cancer survivor. She just got out of surgery. The staff there stopped my niece and told her she had to put the food back and on their sign it says breakfast buffet, but when they filled the cup up halfway with cereal, they got mad and told them to pour it back in. I talked to the front lady. She was understanding about it, but definitely very rude and uncomfortable. Cut our weekend short.

I booked a room for February 28th through March 1st The room that they first gave me had mold in it. It was very stinky and the covers were dirty. I went to the front desk and asked for a refund. He denied me a refund and gave me another room when I went to the other room it was just as dirty sheets were dirty. Pillowcases were dirty floors were dirty like it hadn’t been cleaned or vacuum in maybe a week it was disgusting. It was stains everywhere. The first room had so much mold that it actually gave the room a smell The owner was very rude with the ugly suit on. I hate this hotel. I will never go back and I want my money back. The mold was on the bed. They have mold on the bed on their floors. It’s so nasty like all of the wood is chipping. They have old furniture. It was a zero out of 10 I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.
