Holiday Inn Express and Suites Houston East

There are fairly limited options in the area and we found this to be one of the nicer hotel options available. The location is conveniently located right off the highway with several dining options nearby you could even walk to. There is also grocery and shopping areas very conveniently located close. They offer limited continental breakfast that varies each day. It wasn’t gormet but great for grab and go. The rooms were clean and modern. The restrooms could use some maintenance (at least in our room). The water pressure in the sinks are so overwhelming that they literally spray everywhere when using. The showers unfortunately are lacking any pressure whatsoever. Overall a decent place to stay locally.

Safe and secure location. Urgent car next door, movie theater, and other nice stores at a walking distance. Clean rooms but hallways could be steamed for a better appearance. Breakfast was basic but good as well. Customer service was polite and understanding but at one point I tried getting one of guys at the front desk to transfer me to a room that I PAID FOR (had my parents staying there) to check up on them and he refused. I understand it was midnight I tried calling but if I PAY for 2 rooms I expect to be able to get a phone call to them, bad experience with that guy but other than that it was great! 20 min away from the main attractions and downtown but no biggie

Breakfast was great! The area was kept very clean and all condiment items stayed filled. When you asked Blanca for something she would get it for you from the kitchen. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels were replaced with fresh ones. Room 221

First off, the staff are incredibly kind and we're great to deal with the entire time. Facilities themselves are pretty solid, but my room was a little rough around the edges, and had a pretty heavy musty smell in it. I powered through since the stay was only a couple days, and it wasn't overwhelming. Just very much present. Despite this, I'd still recommend the hotel! Rooms are spacious, staff again are really great, and the price isn't bad for the location, you're right off the interstate and have tons of food options within 2-3 minutes. Perfectly decent hotel for a short business trip!

I have stay here before my favor thing by a movie theater has a pool. Also chilies 🌶️ a wing stop and Chinese buffet in a Mexican bakery. You also have an urgent care near by along with ice cream shop. Point is not a bad location with a tire shop location right side. It actually good location for a hotel and access to highway. Plus I like the pancake maker , seems people friendly. Can't complain about service, but I came up with a question about the pancake maker. But one thing for sure if you do want to complain the hotels take it seriously. I would like to post pictures of the hotel. But I didn't know if they would think it was weird if I took pictures of the pancake area. Along with other picture so maybe they have google update on location. Which needs to happen for a lot of places.
