Reviews
I recently stayed at the Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake and overall had a very good experience. I was initially concerned after seeing an old review mentioning bed bugs, but after calling and speaking with management, they reassured me it was an isolated incident from quite a while back involving an upset guest. Upon arrival, my room was clean, comfortable, and completely bug-free. While the hotel is a bit dated, everything was well maintained. My only real complaint is that the AC unit can be a bit loud when it’s running. As a Hilton Gold member, the $30 daily credit was a nice perk. The staff throughout my stay were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. Check-in was quick and easy, which I appreciated after a long day of travel. The gym was decent and conveniently located on the lower level. There’s also a small lobby convenience store where you can grab snacks, tea, coffee, and drinks. The outdoor pool looked nice, though it was too cool and windy during my visit to use it. Location-wise, it’s a bit of a distance from the NASA Johnson Space Center, but only about a $10 Lyft ride, so getting there wasn’t an issue. For the price, I find this hotel to be a great value, and I’d definitely consider staying here again.

Let me just say that I have traveled a lot from the US, to Europe, to Mexico and this was the worst room I've ever stayed in. Hilton should be ashamed. The fact that I'm even doing a review says a lot, because I never write them but I have to get this out. The location - 5 stars. On the surface it looks beautiful. Great entrance and decor and the view of Clear Lake is stellar. My room (1220), however, was HORRIBLE. It is VERY dated. It smelled SOOOO musty and moldy. I had a stomach ache for 2 days. The carpet is gross. I walked in my flip flops every moment I was in the room. It took forever to get hot water. The shower head and tub are gross. You can't even adjust the shower head so I was smashed against the wall along the big hand rail. The furniture is old and scratched and falling apart. The TV isn't even a smart TV (which is very surprising in this day & age). Everything was old. Baseboards - wow. Surprisingly the bed was comfy. The ONLY 5 star thing was my view of the lake from my room. I enjoyed a beautiful sunrise one morning. The restaurant was fine. They had someone making fresh omelets which was good. Stay here at your own risk.

This stay offered a perfect balance of professionalism and affordability. The room was a quiet, well-organized retreat that felt much more expensive than it was. Service was incredibly efficient, ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is calm and understated, making it a massive bargain. It’s the ideal choice for those who want a polished stay without the high price tag.

This place has amazing shower pressure, comfy beds and a good breakfast buffet. We had an issue with booking thru a 3rd party hospitality agency. But Hilton staff was friendly and gave us complimentary breakfast buffett🤩 Also Andrew was very nice ( do they use the term Bell Hop anymore? Don't want to be rude). He took our bags upstairs for us. Locations was difficult because we didnt rent a car

Another guest and I stayed here for one night on January 10, 2026, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly assisted by Leslie, who was an absolute sweetheart and made us feel immediately welcome. After an 18-hour drive from Indianapolis, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade featuring a lakeside view and a private balcony. This unexpected gesture truly made our stay extra special. The hotel and our room were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was also fantastic; just three minutes from the Space Center Museum and conveniently close to a wide variety of dining and shopping options. If I travel to Houston again, I will absolutely rebook this hotel, thanks to the outstanding customer service and impressive cleanliness. I will also be recommending this location to anyone in the Indianapolis area planning a trip to Houston. Thank you again, Leslie, for making our stay so memorable!
