It's a good hotel with a great staff. Nice views. Clean pool. Clean room. Friendly staff. No club/executive lounge. We opted to use our food & beverage credit to order breakfast off the menu and the food was very good. Location is good for views, however there is no retail (shopping or food) in walking distance.

The staff are all incredible, but the hotel has seen better days. The photos on the Hilton website were definitely taken a while back or heavily filtered. The hotel is perfect for one night when visiting NASA but the hotel is very tired. The view from the rooms overlooking the lake is stunning but the safe didn’t work, the hairdryer was broken, the air conditioning was very loud, there was no hot water from the sink tap but the shower was perfect, the light in the bathroom worked intermittently & the furniture is scuffed and scratched. The rooms are clean, they have just seen better days. The bar & restaurant area is the same vibe, desperately needing a bit of TLC, but the drinks and food were good and the staff really do make up for it all. Thank you team.

This stay offered a perfect balance of professionalism and affordability. The room was a quiet, well-organized retreat that felt much more expensive than it was. Service was incredibly efficient, ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is calm and understated, making it a massive bargain. It’s the ideal choice for those who want a polished stay without the high price tag.

I wanted to leave my two cents since many of the reviews for this hotel are pretty negative. The check-in process was simple and easy, and the lobby is very nice and smells great. Unfortunately, once you get off the elevator on the guest floors, there is a noticeable wet carpet/mildew smell. The hotel is definitely in need of a remodel. Our room was fine, but it also showed a lot of wear and tear. There was a little hole in the bathroom door, the closet door was missing, there was mildew around the tub, and the sheets were very worn. The beds also seemed older and weren’t particularly comfortable. We did use the pool, and while it was fine for the kids, it could definitely use a deep cleaning. We did not try the restaurant, so I can’t speak to that experience. One of our biggest frustrations was housekeeping. We requested fresh towels multiple times, and the service felt very minimal. This was surprising, especially since we typically stay at Hilton properties and have generally had great experiences. If you have high expectations for a Hilton stay, I would suggest looking at other nearby hotels. If you don’t mind an older property and just need a place to sleep close to NASA, it will probably do the job. Would I stay here again? Personally, no. Did it serve its purpose for our trip? Yes. But there are enough maintenance and service issues that I would choose a different hotel next time.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake and overall had a very good experience. I was initially concerned after seeing an old review mentioning bed bugs, but after calling and speaking with management, they reassured me it was an isolated incident from quite a while back involving an upset guest. Upon arrival, my room was clean, comfortable, and completely bug-free. While the hotel is a bit dated, everything was well maintained. My only real complaint is that the AC unit can be a bit loud when it’s running. As a Hilton Gold member, the $30 daily credit was a nice perk. The staff throughout my stay were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. Check-in was quick and easy, which I appreciated after a long day of travel. The gym was decent and conveniently located on the lower level. There’s also a small lobby convenience store where you can grab snacks, tea, coffee, and drinks. The outdoor pool looked nice, though it was too cool and windy during my visit to use it. Location-wise, it’s a bit of a distance from the NASA Johnson Space Center, but only about a $10 Lyft ride, so getting there wasn’t an issue. For the price, I find this hotel to be a great value, and I’d definitely consider staying here again.
