I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham really deserves it. From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff made us feel welcome in a way that felt genuine, not scripted. Friendly, personable, and quick to help...check‑in was smooth, and check‑out was just as easy. Now, let’s talk about cleanliness. This is by far one of the cleanest hotels we’ve ever stayed at. And when I say clean, I don’t mean a quick touch‑up or things just being “in place.” There was a fresh feeling everywhere...the kind that makes you instantly comfortable. The rooms were spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the pillows hit that perfect balance of soft and supportive. Breakfast was another highlight. I honestly wish I had brought my phone down to snap a few pictures because it was that good. Everything tasted fresh, like it was made with care each morning, not mass‑produced in bulk. It had that “grandma’s kitchen” vibe...hearty, warm, and satisfying. What really stood out, though, was the overall experience. The staff didn’t just do their jobs; they made us feel like guests who mattered. That combination of hospitality, cleanliness, and comfort is rare, and it left a lasting impression. We know we’ll be back in this part of Houston often, and without question, we’ll be staying here again.

This is an excellent hotel with great customer service. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is tasty and their conference rooms are very accommodating and technically equipped for meetings. I would highly recommend this location for travel, overnight stays, and meeting facilities.

The location is great, but I’ve never seen stricter TV regulations in my life. BASIC CABLE ONLY. No Netflix or any streaming services you can get at ANY OTHER HOTEL. And if you try to plug in a console they have it to where it maxes out the volume of the tv and locks it so you will get noise complaints. And the TV ISNT EVEN INFRONT OF THE BED. So if you’re not over 85 and still watch only cable, don’t come here.

We stayed here for seven nights. Overall, it was an excellent stay. Our A/C worked great. The morning Breakfast was good and there was plenty to eat with a nice variety. The housekeeping staff was a bit English challenged but that can be overcome with smartphone technology, right? Unlimited hot water and clean rooms, too.

Excellent hotel, great value, great service, outstanding staff and amenities… After a horrible experience at Airbnb coming to Hawthorn was pleasant contrast. I met the GM, Luis Garcia, briefly and he was kind and professional. You can tell he takes pride in providing great service. I highly recommend this location.
