Warmly welcomed the moment we entered from a 500+ mile trip, Shanin quickly got us in our comfy, ground level room. She, Laura, and Chris were always nearby or @ the desk ready to serve or just converse... The room was perfect for the two of us to relax for three nights while visiting family. Towels kept fresh, -we really didn't require any room service. Connie had a hot, morning breakfast ready for everyone... I missed the bicuits and gravy; but eggs, potatoes, and meats were available along w'waffles, hot oatmeal, cereal, muffins and fruits. Complimentary coffee/teas/cocoas were available all day in the gathering area. The adjusted New Year's Day schedule was greatly appreciated (7A-11A)... I liked not having to rush around. This WILL be our "home away from home" when we trip down to see our kids. HAMPTON INN has a quality place in LaPorte, TX!!

For the purposes of my visit this hotel was in a great location. Our room was very clean and well kept. The staff were really helpful but Chris in particular was incredibly helpful and friendly. Whatever he's being paid, it should be more. If I make it back to the area, I would absolutely stay here again.

I wish rooms still had balconies. Room was nice and clean, Breakfast was great staff very kind and professional. When I come back I will book here it's only a 30-45 minutes commute to Galveston

The hotel is in good condition and in a convenient location for my travel. The beds a comfortable and pillows are decent. The staff has been phenomenal. I had an issue and Chris at the front desk was extremely helpful and quick to respond. It’s people like him that make all the difference.

Excellent stay! Melinda at the front desk was very friendly and patient, always willing to help. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom well-maintained, and the kitchen a great convenience for meals. The location was also very convenient. I’d gladly stay here again.
