The staff is at times really nice. Although they did treat a customer that was staying there very rudely in front of everyone questioning if he was a guest there almost like simply because he was black and carrying a plastic bag with him at breakfast. The front desk attendant very rudely asked are you a guest here. I thought it was rude to single him out. Maybe no one else thought it was rude but I would have been livid if it was me. But he was very polite and said yes. The room smelt of mildew and wet dog the toilets were dirty they only give you two large towels and the AC really didn't work everything was always humid like a swamp cooler was being used not a refrigerated air. Breakfast is mediocre and the night staff is great but morning could use an attitude adjustment.

Under construction/ remodeling. Breakfast is terrible, cold food. Room needs a remodeling, carpet sticky and dark and musky smell. I would have changed hotels if I not gotten in so late from a delayed flight. Hopefully it will be better after the refresh.

The location of the hotel is very nice. It's a 3-minute walk to the shopping mall and centrally located to most places. The staff were very friendly and sweet. HOWEVER, the hotel and rooms generally had a smell. A friend of mine visited and said it smelled like a wet dog. There seems to be an issue with humidity or dampness, or another problem, and it requires a serious solution.

So let me say first and for most believe the reviews of the scent. It smells awful. We had a bad experience with a women on the phone who worked for this hotel who had said to my mother "My god! It obvious!" Over a problem with our electronic key. It was not obvious, Sherlock. We then got moved from the first room we requested, to a different one that smelled so strong of mildew that I slamed the door closed before walking to the desk to change rooms as it was not habitable for humans. The man at the desk quickly changed us when I said we could not stay in that room. He was perfectly nice and did what was requested without having to argue. Guess what room we were moved to? The one we originally requested. I have a opinion that the women we spoke to, and who was extremely rude, reassigned our rooms after we had checked in to our original one, to the room that was not habitual.

Room was cozy and comfortable. Service was great! Easy access to highway and restaurants. Hit or miss with food delivery, but otherwise I had a good stay.
