I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Hampton Inn Houston–Stafford. I originally booked and paid for a 5-night stay, but the experience was so poor that I had no choice but to check out after only 2 nights. One of the biggest issues was that the hotel advertised the room as accommodating 5 guests, but that was misleading. When we arrived, we were told they did not have a mattress or rollaway bed for my 6-year-old child, meaning the room realistically only sleeps 4 people. We were forced to use the sofa bed, which was extremely uncomfortable and not suitable for children. The hotel itself was in poor condition. The hallways were cramped, and the wallpaper was peeling in several places, making the property appear old, outdated, and poorly maintained. The worst part of our stay was the swimming pool. The hotel never informed guests that it was a saltwater pool with a heavy amount of chlorine added. My daughter went swimming, and when she came out, her hair was extremely dry and damaged. On top of that, some of our clothing became discolored after using the pool. Guests should be clearly informed about the pool’s chemical treatment before using it. To make matters worse, there were no towels available in the pool area, forcing us to return to our room soaking wet. What made this experience even more disappointing was the lack of concern from the hotel staff and management. When we raised our concerns, no one seemed genuinely interested in resolving the issues or making our stay better. There was very little empathy, no meaningful effort to accommodate our family, and no sense that our experience mattered. We expected much better customer service from a Hilton property. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences my family has had. The misleading room occupancy information, uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, poor maintenance, lack of pool towels, unprofessional handling of guest concerns, and the damage caused by the pool water made our stay unbearable. We booked five nights but left after only two because it was simply too uncomfortable to continue. I will be requesting a refund for the unused nights, as the hotel failed to provide the accommodations and experience that were advertised. I would not recommend this property, especially for families traveling with children.

I've never been to a hotel that did not have a luggage cart. We had to have the 3 of us carry in all our luggage sad. I talked to the manager, and he was just full of excuses. They should have at least one luggage cart. Asked front desk to allow me to talk with the manager. She said, give him 5 minutes and he was outside smoking a cigarette. I had to go outside and approach him. I feel when you pay your hard-earned money. You should have better courtesy than that.

Housekeeping should be done better. These are the photos of my walk-in check. Still was an ok experience. I haven’t had any issues other than noticing the poor housekeeping practices.

This location is undergoing renovations …. The lobby is an absolute eye sore, they have one very small elevator and there were bugs in my room so an 100 incidental fee is OUTRAGEOUS.! It is located next to an abandoned Hooters and a questionable La Quinta Inn. Absolutely do not recommend, at least until renovations are complete. I will not be returning.

Been staying at this location since it’s close to the doctors office. The hotel is being renovated which it was well due for a couple of years. I’m a Hilton Gold member and experienced something that never had happened to me at any Hilton location. We arrived at noon and was told I couldn’t check in early unless I wanted to pay an early check-in fee so that tells me the room was ready Management just was going to make more money by charging the fee. However I went on line and was able to check in and was told the front desk would issue me a key so I went back to the front desk and told the clerk on duty I’m checked in and needed a key. She looked at me with this puzzled look then reviewed her computer shook her head and then issued me a key.
