Hampton Inn and Suites Houston I 10 Central TX

I'll start with the good stuff. Staff is great. Internet is blazing and for a person who wor from the road internet is a must. If you need a place to work they have plenty of nooks and electric plugs to work. And I'm not sure how old the hotel is but it feel either newish or recently refurbished The negatives, the room AC wouldn't go below 72 and it felt warmer than that. When I tried to call down to the front desk my phone didn't work. But the weirdest part is that the hotel sits BEHIND a restaurant. There is no easy access to it. It's actually in a sweet location but with really terrible access to it.

This hotel EXCEEDED my needs. Free self-parking, clean rooms, friendly front desk personnel, especially Ishmael. Great wifi. Coffee and tea all the time. Free hot breakfast consisting of a variety of breads/pastries, eggs, omelettes, potatoes, waffles with option to add syrup, sprinkles and chocolate chips; oatmeal with the option to add nuts and raisins; fruit salad or just grab and go oranges and bananas along with grab and go yogurt. Also, I was able to leave my car at hotel and take the bus to downtown, which passes right in front of hotel every 15 minutes (Bus 85)… for $1.25 you get 20-minute ride into downtown and I never felt unsafe. It saves me money from having to pay parking downtown. I hope to stay at this hotel again soon.

I stayed here on February 2nd. This was a very nice hotel. Very quiet. A really quiet experience. The brother who works overnight, I believe his name is Jerrell... (apologies if I got it wrong) but man such a wonderful soul and a great person. His customer service was outstanding!!!! However, on this same day 2/2/26, the lady at the front desk who worked the shift before him, asked us to give her a minute because she was busy handling something. I get that she was alone but when there is a FULL LINE waiting at the desk and you SEE US, you should tell whoever those "event" people were, that you can get back to them later because you have guests waiting at the front. She made us wait almost 20 minutes. Tell those people to wait. Period. This happened around 7-8pm last night. I mean it was unbelievable. I don't care what event is here to set up or take things down, when guests arrive at the front, you stop what you are doing. I am not sure if there was an event going on... but there were some people setting up or taking things down in one of the conference rooms down the hall. Honestly, I really do not understand why she thought it was more important than taking the guests at the front desk. Everybody was sighing and rolling their eyes. That really was awful that she did that. Its basic 101.

I enjoyed my stay! Great location (15 mins drive to Downtown). Hotel newly renovated. Great breakfast. Great customer service!! Comfortable bed ( I slept like a baby). Quiet no matter busy location (near interstate and railway). Gated parking was a cherry on the top!

My first time staying at this hotel and I was really impressed! The staff were super friendly, the rooms were very clean, and the whole place felt well organized. I loved that it’s a gated hotel, so I felt my vehicle was safe. The location is perfect — close to restaurants and shopping stores. The gym is open 24/7, and the indoor pool was a great bonus! The free breakfast was delicious too. Overall, an amazing experience — I’ll definitely stay here again!
