I enjoyed my stay! Great location (15 mins drive to Downtown). Hotel newly renovated. Great breakfast. Great customer service!! Comfortable bed ( I slept like a baby). Quiet no matter busy location (near interstate and railway). Gated parking was a cherry on the top!

I want to note a safety and access concern for future guests. The former Denny’s property located at the front driveway entrance to this Hampton Inn appears to now operate as an adult entertainment venue. Unfortunately, hotel access requires driving through that same parking lot. During my stay this weekend, vehicles were repeatedly stopped in the shared driveway, requiring me to stop my car multiple times just to reach the hotel entrance. There was a high level of loitering and activity in the area, and the environment felt uncomfortable and unsafe, particularly at night. While the hotel itself may not control the neighboring property, the shared access situation significantly impacted my sense of safety and convenience as a guest. I would encourage hotel management to clearly disclose this access issue to guests and, if possible, explore alternative entry options or added security measures. One thing that troubled me was the parking lot gate was wide open throughout the day. With the activity out front, this made me worry my vehicle would be broken into. The hotel is also facing I-10, so you may want a north facing room if you are impacted by busy freeway noise.

I don't know why this place is rated so highly, even for a Hampton Inn at this rate. First off, the whole situation of entering the property by car where you first have to navigate the tight and chaotic parking lot of a nightclub before you can even pull up to the hotel is something else. The thought of having to deal with club patrons who've been drinking in a parking lot like that is crazy and meant that I was pretty much not going anywhere for the evening just so that I didn't have to deal with that mess. Thin walls. The room shook a lot. Next was the room. Whenever I'd walk in, the smell of heavy Febreez would smack me in the face. Awful. The light bulbs in the room were all the wrong color temperature and strength. They were a blinding bright white that made it feel more like a surgery clinic than a hotel room. The pillows weren't good, but not the worst. They were thick enough and could be fluffed, but very lumpy. The breakfast terrible. Everything was bland. The fruit was like it had been cut several days ago, so it was soggy, mushy, and not tasty. Awful. I hear that it used to be better, but it's gone down hill. Terrible value.

This location little odd, their was a store in front and through it's parking the entrance was. Lot of construction going on. It has gated parking which is good thing. Few entrance gates from parking lot not working with card. Lose bed frame, dripping tap. Not like any other Hampton inn location.
