It would have been a pretty good stay if it weren't for the bed bugs. Yes, bed bugs. The maintenance staff did not believe that 2 live bed bugs found on and under the mattress warranted action further than washing the sheets. "We can move you to another room if you like," is what she said. The desk staff then blamed the bugs related to "the 2 French guys that stayed there last night". Okay...? No refund was offered. Seriously? I will never stay there again. Definitely would never recommend to anyone. Unless you like little pals that bite you when you're alseep.

I hope they tore it down. I stayed there through a summer doing LSAT prep and some research. Infested with bed bugs. My skin is barely beginning to recover and it's been two years. I have psoriasis- so not knowing that there was a risk of this was horrible for me. Scary. Horrible place. Roaches too- the little ones you can't get rid of. The price was good but that was it.

Let's start from the outside and work our way towards the room. First the parking lot, good luck fitting in a spot if you drive anything other than a small car, also the outside itself was just dirty; something you'd see in a cheap apartment complex. Next the lobby, my wife noticed how the floors were slanted. The smell was obvious too, probably from the horrible restaurant next to the reception desk. After we checked in, another no no we noticed was the elevator; it smelled, it was hot, and it was old (my wife felt suffocated being in it). Then we stepped out the elevator and into the hallway, and it smelled even worse. The ceiling was also to low, the yellow color and dim lighting was uninviting, but whats worse were the people we passed that looked like they live there. Now for the room. The hard floors were dirty, the bathroom was dirty, the water from the shower and toilet were brown, the towels were clean but stained, everything was dusty, their were cockroaches (one was splattered on the door), there was a cup on the balcony with cigarette butts, and of course; the sheets were itchy. Horrible hotel, I suggest shelling out 30 more bucks and stay at the marriott behind them... or your car
