Room was in bad shape, floor damage near window, waterfall off the roof by my window, sink sprayed water sideways, first room smelled of smoke and it was the only handicap room..., electrical buzzing coming from outlet next to bed, microwave plug had to be put in just right to make connection, pillows were tiny and there were stains on the couch. Room 211 was smokey and 209 had all the issues listed above. Hot tub was not working for the rest of the season due to renovations.

I am severely disappointed in the service my partner and I received here. We booked the room under my partner’s dad—who works for Choice hotels—and were told upon arrival that we weren’t able to use the reservation we booked. We stayed at another Comfort Suites in San Antonio literally two days prior with the same information, same policy and were able to stay no problem. We had even called ahead to this location twice before we checked in to assure that our reservation was confirmed under the price that was ADVERTISED for the friends and family discount and that we were able to stay in the room under his name no problem. We were told the complete opposite when we arrived for check in and the woman working the front desk said that what we were told was incorrect. The manager was out and the front desk woman was in training, so we weren’t able to speak with anyone even though we had previously discussed this on the phone beforehand to avoid this very issue. Now we had to pay an additional price without the discount ON TOP of our original reservation with no refund. This type of miscommunication and management poorly reflects on this hotel and I am appalled by how this whole situation has been managed. I would not stay here again.

My family and I had a great time was super close to the beach and restaurants Beds were comfortable, room was super nice and clean. Staff here were fantastic and nice Hot breakfast (eggs, waffles, meat, potatoes) Was only bummed about the pool not being opened but more reason for us to go to the beach. I didn't see any bugs, or leaks,our water pressure was just fine in our room warmed up quick, the room stayed nice and cold (husband complained I was turning him into a popsicle) happy wife happy life 😂

Had a really bad experience showed up at 4 o’clock after work in a long hot day at work paid the room and did not have running water for like 3 to 4 hours. I do not recommend this place. I have to pull teeth and nails to try to even get my money back. Not even sure if they’re gonna refund it. I left the place and they still had no running water no way to shower wash your hands nothing and they knew the water was not running knowing they had no water. They were still booking people in and not letting them know Like I said I don’t recommend this place kept telling me the plumbers were working on it. I did not see a plumber at all while I was there really bad experience for me my wife and three kids. How do they expect us to stay there with no running water and still give us a hard time on giving our money Back if we get our money back

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This hotel is disgusting and I would not ever suggest anybody to even lay their heads here. My family and I decided to spend the weekend here and here is ALL the problems we had. First there is ROACHES, big roaches!(Pics included) We had to change rooms due to all the roaches in one room, then we had to change rooms due to smoke smells, then we had to change rooms due to not having the king size bed we requested for one of the rooms. Then the shower rod was hanging on by a thread, due to the hotel putting super glue to hold it up(pics). The shower head was damn near coming out the wall. The mirrors need to be replaced(pics) There was tape on the ceiling and the walls from a previous guest hanging things on the ceiling. The wall thermostat did not work(even though there was a sign that said we should only use the wall thermostat)(pic). The sink was stopped up in one of the rooms. The carpet was ripped up in each room(pic). Housekeeping did not want us to get extra towels unless we use all of our old towels. The ac did not stay cool all day. The hotel itself is really old so do not let the pictures and front lobby fool you. This place is a dump! On top of that, it is in the middle of nowhere and the area looks deserted. PLEASE STAY AWAY!! FYI all my pictures are just snippets of what it really looked like so please just know, it was wayyy worse!
