I stayed for two nights and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, especially considering this is a Marriott property. The lobby had a strong gas‑like smell throughout my stay. When I reported it, the front desk staff simply said they were aware of it but no work had been done to address it. That alone was concerning. The room itself was spacious, but the basics were missing. There was no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash—just empty slots in the shower and no sachets provided. The flush kept running for 15–20 minutes after every use. There were no napkins in the room. Even finding a usable plug point was a struggle; after searching for several minutes, I finally found one hidden under the table. This was my second stay with Marriott, and unfortunately it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I’ve had with the brand. For a chain known for its standards, this stay fell far below expectations. I don’t see myself choosing Marriott again after this.

Do not book here. I arrived 11/11/25 for a one night stay. Checked in with front desk clerk and went to the room where I found a portable ac unit. The temperature outside was in the 60s and unit did not have any heat option. The front desk clerk failed to mention this issue. I called immediately to tell the clerk I could not stay here. He told me there were not other rooms and he could give me an extra blanket. I replied that the condition of the room was not as promised and uninhabitable. He says he could not give a refund, but I could email customer service for a refund. I did not stay or even use the restroom. Totally untouched room. I had to find another place to stay late at night. Customer service, Joe Faris, did not refund my room charge citing a policy issue. Totally unacceptable.

My trip was horrible from the word go. The African lady at the front desk was so nasty and condescending it’s unreal. My husband and I drove 12 hrs with our kids and requested an early check in online. When we arrived the lady at the front desk said she didn’t see the early check in request and told us to come back at 3 pm or we can pay her $30 and check in at noon. We agreed to pay the lil $30. We arrived back a little afternoon and she still had an attitude. Her card reader was messed up and she kept swiping my credit card. Informed her that Navy Fed is really big on fraud so they will lock my cc up. I can just check in and pay online. She still didn’t hand me my card, she proceeded to call a co worker and asked them about the card reader. As I was being ignored I went online and paid for the entire stay and showed her the confirmation number. She STILL didn’t get off the phone with her co worker. My husband and I also request two rooms near by because of our teenage kids. This hateful unprofessional lady gave me two different rooms on two different floors. When I reminded her about my kiddos she refused to change it and said something has to be wrong with the room in order for her to change it. Once I threatened to email Joe F. The name on the business card in the lobby she finally moved me. Well she moved us rite next door but put us in a warm corner room tht smelled like dog and didn’t have a real air conditioning unit. Just a stand up portable white floor unit with one filthy vent on top. I went back downstairs to complain and accompanied me to the room and even saw the nasty vent and smelled the warm room. She then stormed out of the room and I followed her down the hallway and told her that her attitude was unprofessional and unacceptable and tht if I could cancel both rooms I would. Even though she knew we needed to be closer to our kids she skipped over THREE empty rooms that we observed housekeeping cleaning up and placed us in the middle of the hallway. I have never in my life been so disappointed with a company before. I always have a good experience with This brand so I’m shocked at the crappy customer service. I wish I could post the pics of the corner room with a old beat up chair and the filthy vent.

Absolutely do NOT stay here. This place is hands-down one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stepped into. The room reeked so badly it almost knocked me out. No shampoo, no tissues, no working internet — nothing. They shoved in a cheap portable AC that screams like a jet engine all night, so good luck getting any sleep. Breakfast? A complete joke. The fridge was broken, the milk was spoiled, and everything looked like it had been sitting out for days. I honestly felt disgusted. I wouldn’t stay here again even if it were free. Spend the extra money and save yourself the misery. Avoid this place like the plague.

I guess we should have been alerted by all the recent 1-star reviews, but we were betting on the Sheraton/Marriott reputation... First we were given 2 rooms with separate issues - first room's A/C was stuck at 56 degree and the control was broken, second room's smoke detector was beeping and front desk couldn't make it stop. As for the replacement rooms, the Soap/Shampoo/Conditioner bottles were all empty (shouldn't they be filled when getting the rooms ready for check-in?) All in all: Not living up to the Sheraton/Marriott brand image. Not recommended!
