Four Points by Sheraton Houston Hobby Airport

The staff was really nice. The bed was really soft. Just didn't have a remote and it was your basic clean. It's a remodeled building. The price was a bit high but that bed was very comfy.

I stayed for two nights and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, especially considering this is a Marriott property. The lobby had a strong gas‑like smell throughout my stay. When I reported it, the front desk staff simply said they were aware of it but no work had been done to address it. That alone was concerning. The room itself was spacious, but the basics were missing. There was no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash—just empty slots in the shower and no sachets provided. The flush kept running for 15–20 minutes after every use. There were no napkins in the room. Even finding a usable plug point was a struggle; after searching for several minutes, I finally found one hidden under the table. This was my second stay with Marriott, and unfortunately it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I’ve had with the brand. For a chain known for its standards, this stay fell far below expectations. I don’t see myself choosing Marriott again after this.

Very disappointed and NEVER will reserve with them ever again. They overbook reservations and did not respect our reservation even if we had already paid for it. Completely disrespectful and ruined our whole experience visiting Houston. They sent us to a cheaper hotel, made us walk at night under the rain with a 9 month baby. On top of that, they did not provide any credit or money back. Lost me as a future guest, and will Make sure to spread the word everywhere any opportunity that I have.

Service is decent. Proximity to the interstate is nice if you want to wake up throughout the night. I understand this is not the hotels fault but I still didn’t sleep well. This was the worst Marriott I have stayed in. Hair throughout the room. Sheetrock peeling from the walls. It seems like the bathroom had not been cleaned at all. Empty paper products. Whatever repairs were done to the room seemed to be with duct tape and WD40. Just overall a bad experience. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here.

I had a very disappointing stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Houston Hobby Airport (March 22–23). This was easily one of the worst Marriott experiences I’ve had. The AC in the room did not work at all—the temperature got up to around 75°, and I woke up at 1:30am because it was too hot to sleep. I tried adjusting the thermostat, but nothing happened. I ended up getting almost no sleep. On top of that, the TV was missing, the refrigerator and microwave were unplugged, the door wouldn’t close properly, and the bed was uncomfortable. The room felt poorly maintained and not guest-ready. To make things worse, when we returned late at night from the Houston Rodeo, the front entrance was locked and there was no staff at the front desk. We were stuck outside for several minutes until another guest let us in, which was frustrating and concerning from a safety standpoint. When I brought all of this up at checkout, I was told that nothing could be done because I didn’t report it during the night. As a loyal Marriott customer, this experience fell far below expectations. I hope management takes this seriously and improves the condition and service at this property.
