Fairfield Inn & Suites Houston North Spring

Platinum Elite member looking for a convenient nights stay before international flight. Probably the worst Fairfield I have ever stayed in. Rooms smelled like sweaty socks someone sprayed bleach on. Bathroom toilet ran all night and rocked. AC ran but control display was out so It went between sultry summer and artic blast. Morning breakfast had no hot offerings. When I asked where that was, they said "that person wasn't here." Highly recommend you avoid this location.

From the moment we walked into the room, it was clear it had not been properly cleaned. The floors were sticky, there was visible dirt and debris in the corners, and the entire room had a musty, unpleasant smell. The bedding looked wrinkled and questionable, like it hadn’t been changed. I found stains on the sheets and hair in the bathroom — which is completely unacceptable. The bathroom was by far the worst part. There was grime around the tub, buildup in the sink, and what appeared to be mold in the shower area. It made the whole experience feel unsanitary and uncomfortable. The furniture was worn down and dirty, with stains on the chairs and marks on the walls. Even basic things like the remote control and light switches felt greasy. It honestly made me not want to touch anything in the room. For the price we paid, this was beyond disappointing. Cleanliness is the bare minimum expectation for any hotel, and this property completely failed in that regard. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made. Travelers deserve better.

Have to say, I was seriously disappointed. I travel a lot and and stay in marriots regularly and have mariot status. I showed up and the lady working wasn't very pleasant. After checking in, I was told, we dont have any water when asking. I shrugged it off trying and asked if the pool and hot tub works as I was with my son on this occasion. She said absolutely, yes. We go out and the pool/hot tub did not work and broken brick all over. This is just where it started, going in to my room, not just a few but nearly ALL the walls are scratched up, The floors are all stained and looks like gum and spit everywhere. The bathroom lights in the room were rusted over, hook on door had nearly fallen of, not to mention the smell wasn't terribly smell but not a clean one. I would choose a different hotel Attached pictures to show everything discussed.

An amazing staff and excellent service — everyone was super kind. The hotel could definitely use a touch-up, though. The exterior curb appeal isn’t the best, and there were stains and shredded carpet in the room. The hallways on the guest floors definitely need to be repainted.

We are not overly particular regarding hotels…I think it is good to give grace when possible. We were at this location for 6 nights. Very musty smelling Gouged walls—terrible looking No internet at all for five of the days Washing machine did not work Multiple broken tiles in elevator, crooked toilet, rusty light fixtures It took three days of requesting room cleaning for it to actually happen. My husband, daughter, and myself repeatedly bashed our leg/knees on the bed frames that are sticking out WAY too far! This hotel needs MAJOR repairs/updates. The staff was great, the breakfast food was really good. I would NEVER choose to stay at this hotel again.
