The location is great as it’s just minutes away from IAH. Check-in was very easy and took less than two minutes. The room was set up nicely with a separate part dedicated to an additional tv and pull-out couch bed. There is ample lighting and seated space. A nice sized desk for the work I needed to do and small side tables that can be brought in front of the couch. Having a small fridge and microwave is very convenient. The sell some food items near the check-in desk. The bed itself was not comfortable. It was pretty soft and I could feel the springs or supports. It is definitely time to replace the mattress. Noise was kept to a minimum even with the hotel being sold out for the night.

This stay was not at all what I expected from a Marriott hotel. The rooms felt dated and lacked basic modern features—there was no ceiling light, only bedside lamps, which was unusual. The thick carpeting throughout the entire hotel made it difficult to maneuver luggage. What stood out the most, unfortunately, was the customer service. Check-in went smoothly, but the experience at check-out was disappointing. The front desk representative was neither polite nor professional, which left a poor final impression. On a positive note, the breakfast wasn't half bad. There was a solid variety of options, including convenient grab-and-go items as well as fresh offerings like fried eggs and make-your-own waffles. Overall, this isn’t a hotel I would choose to stay at again unless it were my only option.

The staff was great. I arrived at the airport shortly after 11pm and called for a shuttle. I was told the last pick up was at 11:30 and that they might not come. However that was not the case. The driver picked me up about 11:40 and I was greatly appreciative because the Bonvoy app shows 12midnight as the end time. Check in was quick and easy. The breakfast was the typical Marriott buffet. My only issue was not offering bananas. That’s kind of a breakfast staple and they did not have any the 5 nights I stayed. Other than that it was all good. The location is close to the airport, but not a good location for tourist. There’s nothing in the area, even food options are limited to one all night diner and the gas station. Ubers to the city are quite expensive, there is a bus stop 10 minutes walk that will take you into the city for less than $2. Also do not believe Google maps, it is not 20 minutes walking from the airport. More like an hour plus.

I spent a week in Houston during mid-December 2025 performing a lot of challenging physical and intellectual work. It was such a blessing to finish each exhausting day at this hotel. Most hotels ceased regular room services since the COVID hysteria. However, staff at this facility ensures guests get to “wind down” each day in a comfortable and well-serviced room. All staff members are helpful and polite.

Waited 50 minutes for the shuttle after being told 15, call early and often. Room was clean but the door had a huge gap in it. So much the deadbolt didn’t work. Seems like it could be a nice place if management would try a little.
