The hotel was nice once we got there. but myself and several other people that were trying to get a shuttle from the airport to the hotel would call the required number and it would ring and ring and ring and ring and ring and nobody would answer. once I got to the hotel, I was in the lobby and the person was behind the desk and just ignored a ringing phone. that seems to be the biggest problem. Sat in lobby after checkout for about an hour and alot of the time, there is no one behind the desk. Room was good. Breakfast was good. Coffee was good

The location is great as it’s just minutes away from IAH. Check-in was very easy and took less than two minutes. The room was set up nicely with a separate part dedicated to an additional tv and pull-out couch bed. There is ample lighting and seated space. A nice sized desk for the work I needed to do and small side tables that can be brought in front of the couch. Having a small fridge and microwave is very convenient. The sell some food items near the check-in desk. The bed itself was not comfortable. It was pretty soft and I could feel the springs or supports. It is definitely time to replace the mattress. Noise was kept to a minimum even with the hotel being sold out for the night.

Long story short: If you need a cheap, clean, safe, no-nonsense stay nearby the airport, this is an amazing option. I'm a rooms director at a property in a different city and needed something close to the airport to rest my head for a couple hours. I fully inspected the room from a Housekeeping standpoint and everything about my room would have passed the BSA audit with flying colors. The property itself seems like it had a soft renovation somewhat recently so I noticed no paint/finish blemishes outside of what would be expected from the age of the furniture. Front desk staff were friendly and conversational at every time period and (this is maybe more of a weird industry quirk) the housekeeping staff looked very well put-together which translated to the cleanliness and tidiness of the room. All linens/terry(towels) seemed either relatively new or very well taken care of. Hot water ran quickly, tub and sink drained well, and the water did not have any kind of smell (if you know, you know) which did not make me question using the faucet to brush my teeth and likely would have used it to make coffee in a pinch without worrying too much about it. I'm sure there are others who might have had more of a mixed experience but again, if you're just trying to get some sleep in an actual hotel and not at some sketchy XXX-Inn off of 59, this is likely your best bet outside of some crazy deal. If I had to come up with a detractor it would be that I had mixed success with the WiFi but I also did not really try to troubleshoot that so it could have been me. Also, again this is more of a personal quirk, I would have loved if they had asked for a good email at check-in so I could have filled out a 10/10 Medallia response but I know how risky that can be with guests who book through a weird third-party (which I did in this instance) so I likely would have left that question out as well ahahaha Great property all around, ESPECIALLY for the price.

This stay was not at all what I expected from a Marriott hotel. The rooms felt dated and lacked basic modern features—there was no ceiling light, only bedside lamps, which was unusual. The thick carpeting throughout the entire hotel made it difficult to maneuver luggage. What stood out the most, unfortunately, was the customer service. Check-in went smoothly, but the experience at check-out was disappointing. The front desk representative was neither polite nor professional, which left a poor final impression. On a positive note, the breakfast wasn't half bad. There was a solid variety of options, including convenient grab-and-go items as well as fresh offerings like fried eggs and make-your-own waffles. Overall, this isn’t a hotel I would choose to stay at again unless it were my only option.

Hello I just stay at this hotel with my husband and the room was nice, however the bed was too soft for my back but other than that the room was nice. However don’t ever stay here if you are the type of person that is punctual and need things handled within a timely manner because when we arrived to check in no one was at the front desk and we verbally called for someone but no one came than we called by phone and had to play around with their dialing system and it was very frustrating until we managed to get the front desk phone to ring and that’s when someone finally came out. Same situation happened when we tried to check out , however someone was there when we were eating breakfast but 10 minutes later gone and so we had to leave to catch our Lyft otherwise we would have missed our flight.
