Fairfield Inn & Suites Houston Humble

Checkin experience was positive, good customer experience. The condition of the hotel is extremely poor. Walls are scraped up and down, tiles cracked, everything is worn and torn. Water lines had air in them. Nobody was anywhere to be seen when I needed to check out. Internet was completely down for the entire stay and this is a black hole for Verizon cell connectivity, so it was very isolating. No way to communicate at all. They had to write down my card information manually. And as of this morning my corporate card was compromised. I will not be staying here again.

We did an overnight here when in town. I will say that both front desk folks we encountered were very nice, especially the tall guy that checked us in. I can’t believe this is a Marriott brand lol. This hotel is ROUGH. They are doing renovations so maybe it’ll get better. The lobby looks great but the hallways and rooms are not in good condition. The elevator is shaky, we avoided using it after the first ride up. It’s also missing a light cover which I see referenced in a review from 4 months ago so that’s wild. The room smelled musty immediately when we walked in. Our window drapes and duvets had awful stains. They didn’t give enough towels or wash cloths for a 4-sleeper room. The bathtub was all rusted and needs a caulk BADLY. It’s also right next to a busy highway so the road noise was loud all night. The hotel itself wasn’t too noisy though. Oh also one of the bed lights didn’t work and was falling off of its mount. Seems like an easy fix for maintenance… All in all would not stay here again. Management needs to put some dollars into the rooms during whatever renovation they are doing for sure.

Employees were all amazing. The condition of the building is poor. Elevator is terrifying. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. We found a roach crawling on one of us in the room. The breakfast was okay. It lacked a lot. However the lady and and the man working there was very kind, welcoming and a joy to be around.

The staff is amazing or this would be a much uglier review. The property is being "renovated." This isn't disclosed before arrival. It means that your water is shut off from about 9am until almost 6pm. The banging and hammering begins around 7am and they don't stop 7pm. The hotel is currently unlivable. It should be shut down until renovations are completed. You shouldn't waste your money. I expect a refund as this is not a hotel, it's a construction zone. Also, tell the construction workers that smoking in the doorway means the building smells like smoke... -Written by an Ambassador Elite member who spent 120 nights in Marriott properties last year.

This hotel is under construction. There was almost no parking. The hallways look very rough. The rooms were okay aside from some broken fixtures and a broken mirror. I am being graceful because it is obvious they are renovating but I do wish I had read the reviews before booking because I would probably have opted for elsewhere. It is very close to the airport so that is convenient.
