This is my second time staying at this Fairfield Inn while visiting family in the League City area, and it’s been a solid experience both times. The front desk staff is always very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the shower heads provide a steady stream—great for relieving tension after a long day. Breakfast is free and includes the usual options like cereal, waffles, fruit, and typically three hot items. Nothing fancy, but definitely enough to get you going, along with coffee or juice. A decent Fitness room and outside pool will help burn off those calories if needed. The price is right for short stays of 1–3 days, and the location is very convenient right off Gulf Freeway (I-45), with plenty of nearby shopping, dining, and nightlife. I’m a fan of Marriott hotels and really enjoy their rewards program. I’d definitely stay here again.

My stay here was absolutely exceptional. I had severe reservations about traveling to Houston due to the current news coverage. Staying in League City was the best choice as I felt very safe. The rooms were clean to the point where you can smell the products used to prep the spaces. My room requests for extra supplies were prompt, the beds comfy and the hotels location was central to many retailers. In terms of the staff, Sean and Justen were great to us and we thank you both for everything! Additionally, their manager Tarell was friendly and helpful also. In relations to tipping, the integrity and gratefulness of the staff was noticeable. If you’re still checked in and leave a tip, staff will not take it if you don’t make it clear in writing it’s for them. Great stay, people and staff! Fairfield League city keep up the good work!

The front desk associate seemed to be inconvenienced when I went to the desk to ask for an additional key because she was busy conversing with a friend. She also claimed there were no more rooms available for our room type yet I was able to go online and choose from MULTIPLE rooms that weren’t handicap accessible that were available for this room type! You would think the guest service would be better but she had some kind of issue with providing it. We are in a handicap accessible room with a roll in shower and the shower curtain doesn’t even keep the water from getting the entire floor wet! Her attitude needs work and her customer service skills are definitely lacking. Very disappointed to say the least.

The moment we checked into the hotel we were told by the AGM that they sold out the room type we reserved in advance so they stuck us in a handicapped room that smelled like sewage. When we brought the rancid smell to their attention their solution was to drench the bathroom in bleach rather than solve the heart of the issue so our entire stay consisted of a harsh chemical smell. The walls are so paper thin you can hear noise from all of the rooms around, if your goal is a peaceful night of sleep this is not the hotel for you. Our flight was delayed and we asked for a one hour late checkout because we needed as much help as we could get but was denied by an agent named Venessa, she stated because we were on the “friends and family” that they would not help us per policy. We were shocked by this because Marriots in the past have been so accommodating we have never been turned away in a difficult situation, this was the first time. It’s interesting they followed policy when it hurt us but did not follow policy by putting us in the room type we booked in advance. Overall, the worst marriott stay I have ever had and this is actually the first negative review I have ever written for Marriott. I will not give up on the brand, just this property.

I stayed here for work and will not use it again or recommend anyone to use. Just like the other complaints on this page, the rooms are clean but very low water pressure in the showers, and the maintenance manager, Caitlin, seems to have a power authority issue. I requested a late check out due to meetings I had lined up for work. Unfortunately, the meetings took me 30 minutes past the noon checkout. She came knocking on the door while I was still on the phone and ordered me to get packed up and go because I was past my checkout time. I know I was running late, but she addressed me like she was the police and lacked any customer service and could have addressed me in a better way. There are other hotels out there with better customer service.
