Reviews
I booked this hotel based on its strong reviews and convenient location near a hospital where I was receiving treatment. While many guests have had positive experiences, my stay was personally disappointing in some key areas. I discovered on the day of check in, only after checking the app that my reservation had been canceled due to an invalid card on file. With no courtesy call or notification. My first floor room request was not accommodated, and a confirmed priority late check out based on the Marriott tiered membership was not honored. The same front desk agents was involved in these issues, which added to the frustration and made the bad experiences feel personal and discriminatory. That said, the other property staff aside from front desk agents were pleasant kind and helpful, which did make parts of my stay more comfortable. The property was nice as well. This review reflects my personal experience and is shared with the hope it serves as a reminder that proactive communication, compassion, and true hospitality matter just as much as policies and that one guest experience can shape lasting impressions. If i had to sum it up for whoever reads the rieviews I would leave you with this... The guest experience doesn’t begin at the front desk; it begins the moment a reservation is made.

This is my second time staying at this Fairfield Inn while visiting family in the League City area, and it’s been a solid experience both times. The front desk staff is always very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the shower heads provide a steady stream—great for relieving tension after a long day. Breakfast is free and includes the usual options like cereal, waffles, fruit, and typically three hot items. Nothing fancy, but definitely enough to get you going, along with coffee or juice. A decent Fitness room and outside pool will help burn off those calories if needed. The price is right for short stays of 1–3 days, and the location is very convenient right off Gulf Freeway (I-45), with plenty of nearby shopping, dining, and nightlife. I’m a fan of Marriott hotels and really enjoy their rewards program. I’d definitely stay here again.

Service here has been amazing. I checked in Monday at around 1030pm. The lady at the desk was sweet and professional. The front desk put together a card for my birthday. The bartender was sweet and professional as well. I have had to travel on my birthday and it’s tough being away from my family but this was a great experience. My only gripe is the shower pressure. Everything else was awesome.

On February 13, I received an email regarding my February 14 reservation requesting additional information and stating that failure to respond would result in cancellation. I responded within 90 minutes and followed up with a phone call to ensure everything was handled appropriately. To my surprise, I was informed during that call that my reservation had already been canceled shortly after the email was sent. If the purpose of the email was to provide an opportunity to respond, it is unclear why the reservation was canceled so quickly despite my timely compliance. This caused significant disruption to my plans, unnecessary stress, and the added inconvenience and expense of securing alternative accommodations at the last minute. While the cancellation itself was frustrating, my primary concern became the unprofessional manner in which the situation was handled. When the agent confirmed the cancellation, I politely requested to speak with a manager. I was told I did not need to speak with one. When I asked how the matter could be resolved, I was advised to simply go online and make a new reservation. As I continued to request escalation, the agent stated, “I don’t know what you don’t understand.” Only after repeated requests was I transferred to a manager. When the manager came on the line, I explained that my primary concern was not the cancellation itself, but the dismissive tone and unprofessional comments from the agent. The manager responded that she was only speaking with me because the representative had described me as “demanding.” She further emphasized that she was very busy, did not have to speak with me, and that I would be told the same information as the agent. I was genuinely taken aback by this response, particularly from someone in a leadership role within the hospitality industry. The interaction left me feeling dismissed and disrespected. After reviewing other guest feedback, I noticed similar concerns regarding staff conduct, which suggests this may not be an isolated incident. Professionalism, respect, and courtesy should never be optional in customer service. I welcome the opportunity to speak with a member of senior leadership to discuss this matter further and hope appropriate steps are taken to ensure future guests are treated with the professionalism and respect they deserve. Sincerely, A guest who values professionalism and accountability.

This is my go-to hotel for business travel to Clear Lake area. A short drive to Johnson Space Center. Very clean rooms, staff always nice and helpful. Easy in, easy out. Well lit parking and safe area.
