Fairfield Inn by Marriott Houston Northwest Willowbrook

I’ve stayed here for 2 business trips and do not recommend this hotel. During this trip I had to change rooms after finding a cockroach on my bed when I got to the room. I also asked to make up and clean my room daily (understandably I believe…), since the default is every other day. That did not happen despite being offered that service. Breakfast is mediocre at best - bland eggs and a galore of carb-rich foods. The hotel is near a busy road and highway and since it is definitely getting older, the noise isolation is not great. The in-room AC is also pretty old and therefore noisy too. It’s near my work location but there are better/newer options within driving distance so not planning on coming back.

My first time trip to Houston is amazing. I stayed at the Marriot Fairview on Gossner. Comfortable beds and the amazing staff. Ms Tiffany was wonderfully welcoming my first morning at breakfast made me feel right at home. Day two morning Ms Collen made me an awesome Frittata and Mr Jacobs personality encouraged our entire party to join us down for an old fashioned large table gathering at breakfast time. If I had to make a complaint it would only be the smell of cigarettes when your in the coffee area near the lobby so I made sure to stay on the other side of the wall by the TV because of my sensitivty to smoke since my stroke last year. I will most definitely return to Houston and stay again soon I pray since my birthday is on April 29 in a couple weeks! Please stop by and enjoy the wonderful sights and staff and awesome sleep on extreme Comfort.

Terrible place. First room the bathroom faucet only dripped when you turned it on. We were just going to brush our teeth in the tub but found that the TV didn't work either so we had to pack everything back up and switch rooms. New room shower gets warm at best. Only one elevator works. Breakfast is terrible (veggie sausage is the protein, really?). Eggs were gross. 6:30 am there no creamers next to the coffee and I couldn't ask the worker because she was too busy yelling at another guest for grabbing an English muffin too early. This place was terrible and can't wait to leave.

For the most part, this weekend was great, the room was very clean, the beds were soft and firm, and the bathroom was immaculate. I’d like to give Jacob and Colleen kudos for making our stay memorable. When we trudged in after a long drive from Dallas, Colleen helped with a smooth check-in. And on Sunday, Jacob’s pleasant disposition made our morning great. Other than that, the only thing that made the stay less pleasant, was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke smell that was near the Breakfast Buffet area, and in the hallway of the first floor lobby. As someone who is very sensitive to cigarette smoke, this was incredibly annoying. Isn’t this hotel supposed to be smoke free? Taking off one star for the smell.

The supposedly manager she calls herself never told me at check in that there was a $20 incidental fee as well as she was so rude to me a customer as I booked online and still wanted me to pay at check in. I booked through a 3rd party put my card information in and still wanted another card to file. Called about the extra charge on my card and kept taking over me out me on a 15 minute hold while she took care of another person and never told me she was gunna put me on hold . Won’t recommend this place as well as at breakfast there was no eggs and we asked and nobody bothered to take any out , no cups for drinks on counter and everything in organized. Syrup and butter on the other end of food lane away from waffles. Wow. Never again. Unpleasant stay.
