This was the worst hotel stay of my life. I have stayed at an Extended Stay before, so I knew not to expect much, but this was awful. When my boyfriend and I arrived we were told there was no hot water, and it may not be turned on until the next day. As we were in a hurry to get somewhere, we said we would suffer through and the fellow who checked us in gave us a 10% discount so that was nice I guess. I ended up saving us something like $11 total. The first issue was the room numbers which are not visible from your car. They are tiny, and if you are on the second floor forget it, the railing blocks it completely. We carried all of our stuff up to the wrong building before asking a custodian where we needed to be despite being told by the check in employee we were in the opposite one. I was a bit wary when we walked up the flight of stairs to our room and there was caution tape that had been tied up and broken through, but nothing ever came of it. There ended up being hot water when we got to our room, but no towels, no soaps, no lotions, none of the general hotel supplies you expect at chains. All that is annoying, but not a deal-breaker in choosing the hotel for future stays. What was a deal-breaker was the musty smokey stench that permeated our non-smoking room. It was extremely offensive, and we would have asked to change rooms had ours not had the hot water restored. I immediately started spraying body spray to help mask the odor, but it was too strong. The air conditioner was another issue. It would not stay on no matter how cold we put it. It would run for about 5 minutes, then turn off. We kept having to adjust it to come on again. When it was blowing, it blew straight on us in the bed which was very uncomfortable. I also did see one cockroach in the bathroom on the wall in the middle of the night. Overall, it is a cheap place to stay which can be nice in a pinch, but if you are expecting more than the basic accommodations made by even the seediest of hotels, I would not recommend this particular hotel.

The staff and building is nice. The rooms are pretty nice, just don't use anything. Had to switch rooms due to the a.c. not working. Then in the new room, the shower is busted and I was told to wait an hour for the maintenance person to come because it his day off. The outside near the stairs was full of trash. Had to come back to the room to get a shower, the first room. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The cleaning person however was very nice and understood my complaints. It is convenient to the train but that is the only real plus. Not recommended.

The rooms are in disrepair, outdated and dirty. The first room we saw had at least a dozen roaches in the bathroom and water damage in the ceiling above the bed. One night, we came back very early in the morning and were locked out of the room due to malfunctioning key cards. The front desk was empty and of course no one was answering the phone. The staff we interacted with were discourteous, unprofessional and unhelpful. There is no hot or cold breakfast, only prepackaged items. There isn't a coffee pot in the rooms. THE STOCK PHOTOS ARE SO MISLEADING! There is security in the parking lot at night, which is nice. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I stayed 1 night and that was 1 too many. Floor was dirty. Empty foam used food container in the cupboard. No utensils as advertised but considering the unclean condition I wouldn't have used it anyway. Long black hair in the tub and on the back of the toilet seat. Long black hair in the bath towel. I didn't feel comfortable taking a shower. Trash under the sink in the bathroom. There was even part of a sock above the microwave. I will not recommend this hotel or use it again. They advertised a breakfast, no idea why considering they had nothing.

The "Breakfast" was oatmeal packets to make yourself and Apples - not really what I expected, but then again it's something. I wouldn't advertise that as having breakfast. I also was charged a $100 room deductible that I'm having to try to get back that I was told should already be refunded, so there is that too. The room itself was nicer than expected. They have decent movie channels. The pressure for my shower was lackluster and there was also no shower curtain on arrival (which I didn't learn until morning) but the staff got it fixed in 3 minutes once alerted. The staff is the only reason this hotel gets this rating. They were very nice, super helpful, kind, and quick on all fronts. I saw them deal with a lot of harsh customers as well. A+++ staff, 4/5 for location to the NRG Park convention, 0/5 on breakfast, and 3/5 for the room itself.
