A big sign out front under new management, rooms were clean, including bathroom and kitchen. Check in is at 3pm I arrived at 4pm my room with a king bed was not ready, I returned at 430pm my king bed room was still not ready, staff asked if I would take a queen bed, I said sure as a queen room was ready. Pool was clean.

This was the absolute worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. When we got to the hotel we had to wait almost 30 minutes before an employee checked us in. The hotel smells awful like trash and urine. When we finally got to our room there was sizable dead roaches on the floor near the beds. There is a large gap under the door leading to the hallway (about 2 inches) I booked for my family of 5 and had to request bedding to meet our needs. When I asked for more bedding/pillows I was told “let me check, I think we’re out.” Luckily the lady had some blankets but no pillow the first night. When we folded out the sofa for my daughter we quickly folded it back up because there were blood stains on the mattress cover that had obviously never been washed let alone even checked. It was late or we would have requested another room. The second night thankfully they had 1 more pillow available. The grab and go was worthless so my hopes of saving money on breakfast went away quickly. Kids are always exited for hotel swimming pools but this one looks to have not been serviced in quite sometime and was greener than green also putting off a stagnant smell. The side exterior door leading to the parking lot had a broken lot leaving the building un-secure over night which is not something a father appreciates when traveling with his family. Over all this is an awful hotel. I will say the staff does try with what they have and only at check in did the staff show no care at all but they obviously can only care as much as the owner/management does. I honestly don’t know how this hotel passes health and safety inspections and believe the doors should be shut until it’s been well serviced as a whole. We will never stay at an extended stay again.

When I arrived in the room, my fold out couch was broken. I let the front desk know. They offered to put my son and I into room upstairs. We declined, upstairs has a strong smell of Marijuana smell. Nothing you would want to put your kids around. Breakfast was small packets of oatmeal and coffee. My TV did show any channels working. Customer service was good.

Not worth it. I visit Houston often to see family. I'm planning a lengthy trip in the fall and hoped this place would be a good option with a kitchenette, free breakfast, etc. The kitchenette had NO PLATES NO UTENSILS NO pans pots or any other cooking implements. Nor was there an in room coffee maker. The lobby had a disappointing "grab and go" breakfast consisting of lukewarm water that wasn't suitable for steeping my tea, and packaged oatmeal. There were NO SPOONS to attempt to eat the oatmeal with, which was immensely frustrating given the total lack of utensils in my room. The room itself had an air and smell of old gym. Our door had so much play in it I think it could have easily been broken into. I was also told the pool was closed. Everything that I chose this hotel for was the worst possible quality, something I didn't expect from this brand. Next time I'll stay at home 2 suites which is just across the parking lot. There are better options just steps from the door.
