The room wasn't bad to be honest. I couldn't sleep because of all the noise in the hallway and above us like they were holding a gymnastics meet in the room. many reviews said they saw cockroaches, which we did not see, only one small ant. two computer chairs for the small island and one recliner (broken). The staff is cordial, wouldn't say friendly so much. I am sure they do the best they can with what they have to work with. The owner probably doesn't invest in the site for improvements. When you see the area the hotel is in with the homeless living in the gutters behind it, you will understand. It is definitely not a gentrified area. Is it worth the price? That is up to what your standards can handle.

My room was gross and had roaches. The floors were sticky as well. There have been regular roaches coming up from my sink and in my bathroom. I’ve killed them running across the floor. I kill many each day and I didn’t put my suitcase on the floor, I left it in the corner of the bed. I don’t want to bring roaches back home with me. I talked to the front desk and they said they could send someone to spray my room. I was not ok with them spraying while I’m in the room. She said she could move me to a new room. The new room was worse and again another sticky floor that my shoes were sticking to upon walking in. It looked like someone chewed on all the counters, doors, and cupboards. It also had roaches right away. So I asked to just go back to my original room at this point. I am in town for chemotherapy treatment so I gave stars on location. The staff were nice, especially Carroll. I also wasn’t happy that my extended stay suite doesn’t have a coffee pot and I have to pay a $20 deposit to have one. What hotel room doesn’t have a coffee pot for goodness sakes. There is a lot of trash around the property and a lot of sketchy people around. I would not be comfortable outside alone at night here. I added a couple pics of the roaches hiding under the counters edge. I’ve killed them on the floors, counters, and walls.

This is actually an accurately priced establishment if you need an overnight rest. However, cleanliness at this Extended Stay is not what I am used to. There were a few bugs. The elevator did not work correctly. It was good for what we used it for, get there sleep and move on.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ AMAZING EXPERIENCE AT EXTENDED STAY IN THE WOODLANDS I had an incredible stay here at the Extended Stay in The Woodlands. Tim was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth from the moment I checked in. Legacy was just as impressive — she really took the time to break down how the programs work, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I truly understood everything. Her customer service is top-tier, and honestly… she deserves a raise immediately. Tim too. If they don’t get raises, I’m not coming back — that’s how good they are. Both of them made my stay easy, comfortable, and stress-free. Highly recommend this location thanks to their outstanding service!

Rooms: There's bugs (roaches). This has got to be expected because every room has a kitchenette. I purposely brought HomeDefenseMax to treat my room in anticipation of there being a roach problem, it didn't help much. I stayed 5 weeks and it was posted once that the property was professionally treated for pests. Also, the furniture in the room was a little beat up. My stay was in two segments with a week away and my second room wasn't quite as beat up as the first room. Service: Employees are courteous, helpful, and happy to assist. I needed packages shipped to the hotel on a few different occasions and they were perfectly okay with helping me with this, even went so far as to drop them off in my room when I had multiple packages delivered. I appreciated that. Location: For my purposes, the location was perfect! Easy access to I-10 for my work activities, and plenty things to do in that part of Katy during my time off work. I wish to point out that I am an adult and capable male, and for this reason I felt safe & secure during my stay. But, some people may not feel the same. Some of the tenants seemed a bit scetchie. There was an argument in the hallway at 6:am one morning, two young women yelling at each other about a man and the man was making a failing attempt at keeping order between the two. None of the three were wearing much clothing. I was also approach on a couple different occasions by someone asking me if I had any extra work. Understandable by their appearance, but very strange nonetheless.
