This room was reserved for a visit to MD Anderson. It smelled wonderful when walking in only to see that the elevator was out of service. No one was at the desk upon trying to check-in. The room itself was clean but I've never seen a bathroom in such condition. It was awful to say the least and needs to be remodeled. There was a leak under the sink so we had to put the trash can underneath. We wiped the counter and the toilet down with clorox wipes but absolutely refused to use that bathtub! Then while trying to checkout, there was no one to be found. I called 5 times while standing at the desk, knocked on the employee break room door, and rang the little doorbell that sits on the counter. We stood there for almost 30 minutes with no answer to any from ANYONE. Then I heard a knock on the door to the back parking only to see an employee who looked like she was late for work. She asked if we needed to check-in and I told her "no, I need to checkout and I want a receipt." She then told me that I could've just left the keys on the counter and that they check everyone out at 11am. I told her no ma'am, I'm not doing that. She proceeded to climb the counter to get behind the front desk only to tell me she couldn't give me a receipt. I've never seen a hotel operated in thisway in my life. Whoever is in charge of this hptel needs to have a serious talk with the employees especially the housekeeping and maintenance!

Decent hotel with a decent location. Close to the highway so you get a lot of noise from that, rooms are a bit grimy with older equipment (some lights in the room didn’t work). WiFi speeds are good and this a decent place if you just use it to crash for the night at a cheap price. Elevator still doesn’t work as of 1/26 so you can only use the stairs at the property.

ESA is convenient and great if you are economical. All the rooms have a kitchenette area with a full size fridge, electric stove stop and microwave which allows for preparing your own meals instead of going out all the time. A few washer and dryers on the premise, so no need to travel with a bunch of dirty laundry. Cost $3 each. Need to have a debit/credit card to run (no cash). Staff are friendly and helpful.

My family and I chose this location for its location because we were in town for Junior Olympics. The receptionist who checked us in first claimed she couldn't find our reservation. Eventually thankfully she did. We had spent 12 hours on the fields and all were tired and in need of showers and food. My feet were sticking to the floor. The carpets looked like they were in desperate need of a shampooing. But at this point we were too exhausted to go anywhere else. The second day we come back after 3pm and maid staff had not cleaned our rooms or brought clean towels. Again we were outside all day and all needed showers. I took the dirty ones downstairs and after standing there for 5-10 minutes while 6 employees (1 was either the owner or the manager) are standing there not asking to help me the receptionist tells me to come back in 30 minutes. (They couldn't bring them to us.) It took 3 hours and 4 more trips down from the 3rd floor to get 5 of the 8 clean towels and 2 bath mats. No wash clothes or hand towels. I again was told I could come back if Iwanted those. During these 3 hours my husband tried to give our trash to the maid staff on our floor and was told he had to take it downstairs. And also they couldn't give him clean towels despite the fact the linen closet on our floor had plenty of towels. The elevator sounds like it is about to come undone. My husband was told repeatedly they were doing construction as an excuse. That was not explained before booking nor were the rooms discounted to account for this. I will never again stay at an Executive Inn. Nor will I refer anyone. I worked for Executive Inn on the early 90's and thought they were one of the nicest hotels I had ever been in. Now they rank right there with the motels nobody but the unsavory locals would want to stay in. I took pictures to post with this review but I'm guessing that option has been removed because the truth hurts.

There was a German roach caught in bathroom. The beds were decent but a little too firm. The ac was great. BUT biggest and loudest issue was being woken up at 5am to a very ALARMing noise. The hot water heater SQUEALING. Being used upstairs by someone getting up early I suppose. It didn’t stop until they were done showering. It was miserable
