I was a storm victim in May 2024. I went here because my power and water was out for 4 days. I booked her because it was affordable and I really needed affordability and not be too far from my residence. The cost for the first days was about $75, then the next day it shot up to $135 and then on a Sunday night it was $145 and then Monday night it was $105. I feel like prices went up just because people needed somewhere to stay. The worst part is I notified the front desk that my water and power came on today Monday at 530 and I requested a refund and they refused. So I was happy I could go home but I had to still pay for my room even though I notified them prior to 6pm which is the cut off period for cancelations if you go through a third party. But since I was already there, no refund. So I feel a bit taken advantage of. I will say the rooms were nice and the water pressure is good. Slept comfortably. Price going up tho was something I thought wasn't right.

I came here on a fema voucher. The staff the room everything was excellent until the hurricane happened, which none of us could control. EVER SINGLE STAFF MEMBER WAS AWESOME AND HELPED EVERY WAY THEY COULD. My only problem was with the company to be exact. Extended stay America is a million or billion dollar company. It was broadcasted all over the news For almost 3 weeks about the storm and they did nothing to prevent our power from Going Out for 4 days. Or have any generators on stand by JUST IN CASE, like they were saying on the news. Other than that like I said the staff was amazing... the manager Briana I think thts her name lol and miss Charlotte (OVERALL 😇) , and the short black lady all need raises seriously.

Corporate Travelers Beware: Extended Stay Galleria As a recent guest at the Extended Stay Galleria, I feel compelled to share my experience to warn others. Despite its promising address, this hotel fails to meet the basic standards expected by corporate travelers or long-term visitors. Here are some key issues I encountered: Rodent Issues: I personally experienced rodent sightings during my stay, which was extremely unsettling and unacceptable from a cleanliness and hygiene perspective. Unprofessional Environment: The staff displayed unprofessional behavior and were unresponsive to my concerns, which added to the overall discomfort of my stay. Inappropriate Behavior: There were numerous instances of inappropriate and unruly behavior within the hotel, making it an uncomfortable environment for anyone, especially those on business trips. Furthermore, my employer informed me that this is not the first time they've received complaints about this property. They have had to move me and other colleagues to different accommodations due to these persistent issues. If you value a professional and comfortable stay, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This establishment does not meet the standards expected for corporate travelers.

They issued a room key to someone else who came and opened our room door while were in it, front desk error! Bath tub has no means to hold water so you can not take a bath, in room telephone did not work, bathroom sink had no stopper just an open drain pipe, there is no ice machine on property, you have to make your own ice via two blue plastic ice trays, breakfast is granola bars, instant oatmeal and stale muffins. Security guard for parking lot is excellent. Hotel is looking run down and needs upgrades in common areas and bathrooms.

I must say the location is great! However my experience while staying there was horrible! The staff is very unprofessional and lacks knowlegde about everything when it comes to giving feedback! My room had mold in it leaking refrigerater and what appeared to be burns all the room. I had to contact guest relations several times because the staff just refuse to handle customers with dignity and respect. All they were interested in is creating a hostile environment. I was asked to leave the hotel because I made maintenance requests for All the problems I was having the manager refused my service because I wanted to be treated with respect like a paying customer should be. It's okay I have plenty of evidence for my future claim!! I hope this helps someone!! I wish I could post pictures of the mold and leaking fridge the broken cabinet and so on. I will eventually have my side heard!
