I needed a place to stay for a few weeks while my home is being built, so I chose this location. I was a bit hesitant at first because I have a small child and wasn’t sure what to expect, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The property is well maintained, and the room was very clean upon arrival. When I needed help with the appliances, the front desk attendant, Anne, didn’t hesitate to come to my room personally to assist me. I also spoke with a neighbor who was moving out and asked about his experience and he shared that he had been here for seven months with absolutely no issues. Thank you for making us feel at home!

Being able to cook a homemade meal again is amazing. Having a stove in your hotel room is so worth coming back again. Staff are very friendly. If you need anything, you just go to front desk and ask. Can be noisy at times, especially when the children come home from school. That's normal. Guest are friendly and kind. Will update when it's time to leave 😭

DO NOT STAY HERE. I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE! UNLESS YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT QUALITY CUSTOMER CARE, HOSPITALITY AND STAYING AT AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING HOTEL. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND IS RAN BY AN INCOMPETENT MANAGER & STAFF. Where do I begin, let’s start with the check in process and how there’s nothing but residents living here. Upon checking in the Front Desk was “evicting” a room occupying more than 10-15 people in a room where police had to be called because they were running throughout the hotel. It is not safe nor ideal for someone to stay here on vacation. It is run down and lots of locals living here running a muck. I will NEVER in my life go according to reviews and I’m not one who’s hard to please. I usually give the benefit of doubt but this establishment needs better management to start with and a maintenance man to repair all of its broken amenities. If you do pay for breakfast, you definitely will be receiving absolutely nothing but maybe a cup of coffee. The breakfast bar is completely empty and this was every single day of our stay. Let’s not forget to mention there is absolutely no housekeeping and they charge you for clean towels on a daily basis, what are we paying the hotel for if we have to pay an additional fee? Every single time we swiped the room card key it would not work and felt like we were inconveniencing the staff every single time we brought it to their attention such an inconvenience for me I would say. We also found blood stains on the shower curtain and sheets. If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would, but in order to write this review, I had to at least give them one which they don’t deserve.

False Advertising, Policy Misrepresentation & Forced Eviction Over Pet Policy Review: Extended Stay America Suites – Baytown needs immediate corporate oversight. I booked this property specifically because the hotel’s official website states that it is pet-friendly and accepts cats. There is no mention anywhere online that cats are excluded from this policy. Despite this, after checking in and settling in with my family, management abruptly informed me that cats were not allowed and that we were required to vacate the property the following morning. This is not a minor issue — it is a clear case of false advertising and policy misrepresentation. Guests make booking decisions based on the hotel’s published amenities. When a hotel advertises itself as pet-friendly, accepts payment, allows check-in, and then reverses the policy and threatens eviction, that is a breach of consumer trust and could easily be considered a breach of contract. This incident caused significant disruption, distress, and hardship for my family — all because the property did not uphold the policy that they themselves publicly list. The lack of accountability and empathy from management was equally concerning. I am requesting: 1. Corporate review and intervention, as this reflects poorly on the Extended Stay America brand. 2. Updated, accurate communication regarding pet policies to prevent this from happening to other guests. This situation should never happen at a national hotel chain. I will also be filing a formal corporate complaint to ensure this issue is addressed at the appropriate level.
