I booked a hotel for my sister and My sister got there and Front desk says “No dogs” But your website says “service animals allowed” And she had paperwork and everything but guy didn’t think to mention to her that service dogs are allowed And I didn’t get a refund so I’m out like $60 or so because jerk front desk can’t communicate or honor policy’s listed on the website (it’s in the Q&A by the way)

I would have given the fifth star, but breakfast is an important meal to me when you’re getting up and getting started on your way. It’s a very clean place as far as the rooms are so far, but the downfall is no breakfast and I think they would definitely get more business if they have some type of breakfast That’s important to a lot of people consider considering that you’re on the side of the feeder and you have to drive all the way down to one end and come back up to get something to eat. Also, the ice machine needs to be cleaned at the bottom. I will be very leery about receiving ice from there when it’s not clean there is a lot of green lingering down at the bottom.

I got this room because it was cheap and I had to make an emergency run to spring so I settled. I just didn't realize how far down I had settled until I actually got to the room I walked in and the room was hot but the AC read 72. I immediately cranked it down to 61 and settled in to see how long it would take the room to get down to bearable. It never did. I always carry a large floor fan with me, because you never know. I am cold natured, but this is Houston in the summer, so I travel prepared. I stayed Friday through Sunday morning and in that time the room never got comfortable. There was about a 3/4 inch Gap under the door and a quarter inch Gap all around the door. There were hairs on the ledge of the shower stall. Stains on the carpet and burn marks on the comforter The refrigerator has no control so you can't turn it down from almost cool to actually cold. I put several cans in it up on arrival and when I left on Sunday they were cool but they still weren't cold. I have grown to expect this even in nicer hotels so I always carry alcohol spray with me and clean everything up on entrance I also always travel with a bedside rug so that my feet never have to touch the carpet. I was very grateful for my forethought. The mattress was hard but not rock hard. The website says that this place has a laundry but that is somewhat of a fib. The laundry is actually next door at the Red roof Inn which is also owned by people from the subcontinent. The Express Inn seems to have a buddy system with the Red roof Inn wherein they share the one washer and one dryer between the two of them. So I had to carry my laundry next door to the Red roof Inn go to their office and get a key to allow me into the laundry room. But the dryer was filled with dog hair and reaped of cigarette smoke so there's no way I would have thrown my clothes in that dryer I don't know where the owner sources his toilet paper but it can easily double as light grit sandpaper There is no breakfast but seeing how bad the room is in the laundry room is I'm kind of grateful The TV has several hundred channels but not a single one you'd want to watch. To get from one channel to another you have to scroll and any channel is about 100 channels away from the last channel you thought might be mildly interesting. It's worth the 54 bucks not to have to sleep in your car but that's about all that I can say to conmend this place

It's better than sleeping in a vehicle or on the street. The manager somehow found the cheapest and most abrasive toilet paper made commercially and supplied it to the guests. Advertisement of the free breakfast is a lie. The phone in the room does not work. The remote to the TV does not work. There is a place right down the road less than 5 minutes which for the same price has a fitness center access and a very nice complimentary breakfast, and what's better is that the staff is friendlier there and more accommodating.
