Drury Inn & Suites Houston Galleria

I want to give the review that I wish I could’ve read while looking at reviews to select my hotel choice. This is a Great hotel in the Galleria area. The hotel is close to everything! We were here to celebrate my birthday at a nearby restaurant and I love the Drury brand, so we decided on this hotel. Front desk lady was very thoughtful and efficient! Room was clean and I was given a nice upgrade for my birthday!!! The bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on! We slept soooo good!!! The evening Kickback was very nice. They had steamed veggies, mashed potatoes, meatballs with gravy, along with hotdogs and a nacho station. Everything was delicious! The drinks at the Kickback were just perfect and the bartender made me the best Rum punch!!! Breakfast was incredible! They had so many options…eggs, sausage patties, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffle stations, cereal, fresh fruit, etc. This was an amazing stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel and fabulous staff. There was only 1 person at the front and she was slammed with requests, check ins, and questions. She stayed calm and worked quickly. Lots of patience! The hotel had a cool parking lot security robot. That was fun to see technology and ways hotels are growing. Breakfast was great, bed was comfy, room was a nice size. Nice location close to the embassy I had to visit the next day. ​

Thank you to Drury Hotels for accommodating us and our stay during December 25-26th 2025. All of the staff was very kind and because we arrived later in the evening closer to the dinner closing time, we were prompted to make sure and grab dinner before even checking in. We would like to thank all of the staff for their kindness and generosity. We also found out that we had booked our stay for the wrong dates and want to thank the team for helping to find us another room and accommodating us! The rooms were very clean and the service was really great, thank you again for making our stay memorable!

I'm starting to like Drury for being simple and value-for-money. They don't seem to have a large presence but the few hotels they operate are usually in good locations, include a consistent breakfast and consistent room experience. Our room didn't seem to have any staining issues but we did notice that the microwave turntable wasn't working and the bathroom door hinges needed serious lubricating. Other than that, everything worked. There was no safe, that would have been a great value-add. We'd opted out of room service when booking but someone did service our room. The breakfast and early dinner with drinks are valuable in saving time on a vacation, and are a great option to relax if returning to the room early. We're vegetarians so the spread is very restricted, but we liked the consistency in the spread (unlike Holiday Inn that didn't care). The staff is friendly and helpful and we were able to work with them for a slightly later checkout. There's plenty of free parking and it operates with your key card. Overall, I highly recommend the hotel.

Great value. I paid under $200 for the room for the night. While this place is not fancy and lacks some amenities, the rooms are very clean, the sheets are clean and smell fresh, bathroom is spotless shower is good and water is hot. The room temperature stayed consistent all night and it was quiet despite being next to the freeway. This location is great for work meetings. The staff was friendly and responsive. Again, not a fancy place but well run, clean and convenient. I’ll stay again.
