DoubleTree Hotel Houston Intercontinental Airport

It's a great room.... for a Days Inn, but I paid 190, Diamond member. Was told I was getting an upgrade in rooms to a double queen deluxe. Not really sure what is deluxe about it. The view was trash.I'd have rather stayed in the original room which at least overlooked the courtyard. Toilet "kind of" flushed, after the 3rd attempt, though, after holding the handle down until it went down, half the paper came back. The hotel is very very dated and certainly not worth the 190 that I paid for it. The shower curtain is torn, rust on the mirror switch, the door looks like 1980's plywood. The staff was great, the shuttle was used and appreciated. The room was big but I'd rather a small room than this "upgrade" I'm giving this a 2 rating rather than a 1 only because of the staff.

Short stay to catch some sleep. Hotel front desk staff was friendly. Warm cookies were delicious. The hotel seemed a little dated. Definitely needs more lighting in bathroom. The fee for parking is $15 a night which sucks. Its not a secure lot for the cost. Should be free. They have shuttles running if you need to get to airport.

Close to the airport and reasonably priced compared to other options in the area. The facility itself is nice, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The shower had everything I needed, including reliably hot water and great water pressure. The lobby bar was a highlight—lively, active, and a nice place to unwind. The staff was fairly friendly, though not the most welcoming. My biggest frustration was the shuttle service, which was difficult both on arrival and departure. Overall, a solid stay with good amenities, but the shuttle experience could definitely be improved.

This place is great! Rooms are spacious and clean. Pool and hot tub are really nice. Restaurant serves bar menu style food at a fair price (for a hotel restaurant) and our server was really nice. Beds are comfortable and service is outstanding. A big shout out to Andrew for being so accommodating and kind. He went above and beyond!! They also have a free shuttle every 30mins to the airport. I highly recommend!

Hotel close to airport. Upon entry needed to use the restroom. Got water did not work in sinks. Toilets were pulling away from walls. We were early for checking and needed to wait 3 hours to get card key for our room. The room is outdated with higher gallonage poor performance toilet. During the night a nearby smoke detector went off and i called the front desk. I went back to sleep until i heard a knock on our door and saw security looking for the offender which means there is no automatic reporting to the front desk. The heater fan was extremely noisy so we turned it off. Not a good experience for sleep as the bed was too hard and i woke up with a back ache. We ate both lunch and dinner here and both experiences were poor. Looks good from the front and is cleanbut that's it.
