Do not stay here. Not sure how this place has close to 4 stars. It felt like I was staying at a motel. The sheets had visible stains, the sink was clogged, hair on the bed sheets it was gross. It did not feel clean or sanitary. With the price I paid for the room I at least expected a visually clean bed. The hotel really needs remodeling. The front desk people were okay. I mentioned my concerns of the sanitation of the room to the front desk and asked to speak to a manager. They said the manager was not available and that they would call me which they did not.

I've had the opportunity to work closely with Ilecia and the staff at this DoubleTree over the past few weeks. They consistently go above and beyond in their commitment to providing the best stay possible to their guests. I've been blown away every step of the way by their hospitality and commitment to care. Ilecia's attention to guests and personal touch truly embody the spirit of hospitality. While the property is excellent, it's the staff that makes the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Houston - Greenway Plaza amazing.

The property itself was outdated for what was advertised. Most certainly not a 4-star hotel. I would put this as a 3-star at best. Shower/bathroom was small and the door closed into the toilet area, so it was hard getting in and out. The room was big. The staff was decent. The only 5-star recommendation I can give for this review was the valet staff. Excellent service there. Only issues was the texting was non-existent as it was not working majority of the time, so you have to go downstairs to request your car - But they do park it right outside so it is convenient.

No water! At all. Woke up, had a perfect hour to get ready to go to my meeting and there was no water! There was absolutely no notice. Was later told the entire building had no water since 3 am. Management should’ve told all guest via calls. Aside from that, the entire building and rooms are in terrible shape. The parking lot has super low ceilings that’s hard to maneuver in. AVOID THIS HOTEL!

Horrible room service! I asked for foam pillows upon check in and didn't get them for a few hours. I called from the room phone and didn't get through. So I called from my cell phone and was told I would be put on a brief hold. That hold became a 19 minute wait and finally I went downstairs to check on what was going on - nothing! They weren't doing anything! I stood for a few minutes observing while I was still on hold. Finally at 26 minutes hold time, I went up and asked what was going on. I hadn't received my foam pillow and they weren't answering my phone at all. And what answer do I get - they have been extremely busy. Straight up lies!!! The only positive thing about it is the good location.
