I’m officially signing my lease and moving in today at The Weston, and I couldn’t be more excited! The process on my end was long and definitely challenging at times, but Amber stayed by my side through every single step. She was patient, understanding, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything worked out. No matter how many questions I had or how complicated things felt, she made the experience so much smoother and less stressful. I’m truly grateful for Amber and the entire amazing, kind staff for their support and professionalism throughout this journey. They made me feel welcomed from the very beginning. I’m so excited to start this new chapter at The Weston, thank you for helping make it happen!

I want to love it. Prices are great, nice floor plan, and beautiful neighborhood. However! It’s hard to enjoy, with all that it comes with. To start, my apartment was not fully ready upon moving in, even though we did a walk through before hand. I also find that maintenance sometimes does half the job. They tore up my carpet and never came back to fix it. Bent up my stove burners, now I can’t clean them properly. The list goes on… The top floors and elevator are carpeted and they don’t do regular cleaning so it reeks of pee and waste. The whole complex smells sour, especially when it rains because people don’t pick up after their dog. The grounds people are pretty good about picking up though. Worst of all, Weston staff suggest I call the police to do Their job. I was told they will not talk to my neighbors who slam weights EVERY morning at 2am-4am because, “how would {I} feel if the leasing office called {me}…” What????? That’s part of the job. It’s been months of restless nights because of their lack of responsibility.

I only clicked a star so it would allow me to post. Beware! This apartment is roach-infested and full of mold. The apartment representatives are good at convincing you to move, and they always tell you what you want to hear. However, the appliances are old, everything is painted over the black mold, the carpet has a stench, and there are always leaks in the building along with power outages. Not to mention, you can smell the bayou, which is terrible. The water frequently has to be turned off due to plumbing issues. Love Ms. V, but she knows those apartments are raggedy and infested with roaches like crazy; I've never seen anything like it. You are literally paying for the name. I love the staff, but the property should be demolished. Oh, and did I mention roaches? We were traumatized by them coming out from everywhere. Save your coins for a more updated building.

Paul helped me look at apartments and made the whole experience so easy and stress-free. He was professional, honest, and really took the time to make sure I understood everything. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping people find a place they feel comfortable calling home. I definitely recommend reaching out to him if you’re apartment hunting!

RUN. Find literally ANY other place to live. Don’t Be Fooled by the Leasing Office: The decorated model units and polished office are pure bait, designed to make you think you’re moving somewhere nice. You’re not. Read the reviews, pay attention to the objective ones, and you’ll see exactly why you should NOT move here. Roach-Infested Nightmare: You WILL have roaches. Period. Doesn’t matter how obsessively clean you are—this is a systemic building failure management has completely abandoned. The laundry rooms? Crawling with ants, and roaches too, in facilities with no ventilation or HVAC. You’ll be paying to wash your clothes surrounded by filth. Management is a Joke: Constant staff turnover means nobody knows anything, nobody follows through, and nobody gives a care. They’ve even replaced actual humans with an AI phone system because apparently hiring competent staff is too much effort. Dangerous and Neglected: Fire alarms blast you awake between 12-2AM with zero explanation ever. Oh, and the elevator? Broken for months. Management apparently thinks stairs are good enough for everyone; never mind the elderly, disabled residents, or anyone who actually needs reasonable accommodation. Management doesn’t communicate, doesn’t apologize, just leaves you wondering if there’s an actual emergency or if it’s another malfunction they can’t be bothered to fix. Security gates? Permanently open 24/7 now, turning this place into an open invitation for anyone to walk through. Good Luck Getting Help: Emails go ignored until you send them multiple times. The AI answers your calls. Your only shot at resolution is showing up at the office in person and praying someone competent is actually there. The Reality: This property is falling apart, management has checked out completely, and you’re on your own. Don’t let a cheap rent price trap you in this disaster.
