Would give 0 stars if i could, stayed here a few months back but felt the need to leave a review because i remembered how horrible the customer service was, so i visiting family because im not from houston, and needed a hotel because the family i was visiting had no more space, when i arrived, there was no one at the front, then suddenly an indian man with a tank top and what seemed like underwear came out to “help me out “ i was having some issue with my debit card and out of nowhere he starts going on about “Sir don’t waste my time are you going to pay” something along those lines, keep in mind i was being super respectful up until this point, and i was in a good mood so i just laughed his remarks and disrespect off. Had it been any other day it would’ve been a different story but anyways i got my key, the hotel was meh but that was about it, to me what’s mostly shocking is the fact that an employee thinks his time is being “wasted”, when he was literally doing nothing beforehand. Respect goes a long way and this place has none.

Best value for my money during a week-long road trip that included five hotels in three states. Jen, the manager, who checked me in late yesterday evening and checked me out this morning, was very pleasant and professional. The room was very clean; had plenty of space for several open suitcases; toiletries, including a hair dryer and plenty of towels for two people; a dedicated space with refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker and ice bucket; an iron and ironing table in good working order next to a small clothes rack with heavy duty, removable clothes hangers; plenty of drawers for other clothes; very comfortable bed; a dimmer for the ceiling light fixtures above the bed; a small table with two chairs; a powerful yet quiet AC unit; working TV; phone; tasteful decor with matching appliances. It’s a quiet location, and over half the vehicles in the parking lot were gone when I looked at 7:15am. There’s a small pool at one end of the U-shaped building, and the parking lot is clean and the grounds well kept. I’m awed at the low price for the quality, and highly recommend this location. Should I return to this area, I’d stay here again.

Nicely updated motel that falls short of being a good place to stay. As other reviews mention, the breakfast that is all over the website and the confirmations is a myth. The guy at the front gave a “don’t blame me” position, because Days Inn/Wyndham corporate is incapable of updating a website to reflect this. Apparently, he is incapable of covering up the sign that was 10 feet away from him in the lobby that clearly stated the hours that breakfast is available, as well. The other negatives were that the television cable system was difficult to navigate, without an interactive program guide (shouldn’t everybody have that figured out by now?), the shower pressure was a mere trickle (Probably an attempt to save money, but it makes you take showers that are twice as long), and, if you don’t want to see a night visitor like the one clearly indicated in my photo, I’d suggest you leave the bathroom light on. They also skimp on pest control. Roach motel. No decent coffee option, and I skipped the room coffee maker after seeing the roach infestation. Oh, and don’t bother with the online check-in that supposedly gives you the ability to just pick up your key upon arrival. You will be asked all the same questions, and asked to hand over your credit card. What’s the point? I know… “Don’t blame me.” Blame whoever… But I’m finding Wyndham hotels to be a poor experience on both the low and high end.

We have stayed here several times. Great staff, very friendly. Floor of the room was wet like it had just been mopped. It has never been like this before so we just dried it with a towel then used that towel to step on when we got out of the shower. There was some long dark hair in the back corner of the shower. Like I said, we have stayed here several times in the past. This is not the norm.

Female, traveling alone perspective of Days Inn in LaPorte...hotel was completely quiet. Parking lot and outer area very well lit and clean. I felt relatively safe. Remote area, but nice neighborhoods a few blocks away. The room was basic necessities, clean, not a luxury room. A room for sleeping. Mattress comfortable. Shower nice as well as vanity area. Pictures are accurate of room, but no HELLO SUNSHINE linen piece on bed. Coffee pot in room, but I had to ask for coffee. Suggestions to management (to avoid confusion) Website needs to be updated to clearly state "no breakfast item". Other suggestion, lobby area needs to be open at 7 a.m. for checkouts. Not to stand out at window in rain to check out. Overview, it was safe for me and comfortable to sleep and I would potentially stay here again. Mr. Danny (management) seemed like a nice person and treated me properly in our interaction. Giving 4 stars for one thing I took care of myself in the room but don't let that keep you from staying! Give them a try for basic accomodations, safety and convenience.
